Today, we had a surprised mini update within Grow A Garden. The Farm Cosmetics update only launched yesterday, however due to the negative feedback surrounding the update, and the removal of the Blood Moon and Lunar Glow event, the dev team launched a brand new event, called Twilight Moon, and a whole new shop, including a NEW pet…

On the hour, a pop-up stone plinth appears from the floor (just like the Blood Moon shop did), and you get to purchase items within the brand new Grow A Garden Twilight Shop.
Just like the Blood Moon shop, the stock rotates every time the event happens, so you have to keep checking, to make sure you don’t miss out on the items you want the most.
Within the new Grow A Garden Twilight Shop, you will find the following items:
- Night Eggs
- Night Seed Packs
- Twilight Crates
- Star Callers
- Moon Cat (a brand new pet)
- Celestiberry Seed (new seed)
- Moon Mango Seed (new seed)
All of these items are purchasable with Sheckles, and they’re all quite pricey, and they will be limited edition too, until the next event replaces the new Twilight event.

One of the items within the new Twilight Shop, is a brand new pet, and it’s the Grow a Garden Moon Cat.
This Moon Cat is ultra-rare, so you’ll have to keep checking to try and get your hands on one.
It costs 100,000,000 Sheckles, so it’s a super expensive pet, but it’s so cute.

It has a pale gray color, but it has neon pink triangles inside its ears, neon pink nose, neon lilac whiskers and neon stripes on its forehead.
Plus, when it’s dark and the moon is out, the whole cat glows! It looks so pretty!
I’m not sure my photos do it justice, but it’s such a cool design, and I love the neon elements so much.

When it comes to the benefits of owning and equipping the Grow A Garden Moon Cat, every 59.51 seconds she naps for 20.33 seconds somewhere in your farm, and during that time, she’ll make new fruit within 20.33 studs of her will be made 1.52 x larger. PLUS, you get a 6.10% chance “moon” type fruit stays after harvest.
You’ll see a green circle around the cat when she’s napping on her back, so you can easily see where she is, and the area you can expect an increase in size for the crops.
If you try to sell your Moon Cat, the pet shop offered me 3.8 million for it! I think it’s the best item from the Twilight Shop, with the Moon Mango following in second, but I genuinely love the whole shop, even if I am gutted we can no longer purchase the Blood Moon Moon Melon anymore…
