The Grow A Garden dev team never sleeps.. quite literally. During the Farm Cosmetics update, Jandel told us that the devs had been awake for 30 hours straight trying to get the update perfect.
Well, there’s lots of exciting things to come, including a new bee update, plus we are getting a brand new weather event within the game.
As of now, there are a number of weather events within the game, and each one will add an extra multiplier to the value of your crops, with each mutation from the weather events.
Right now, we have the following weather events in-game:
- Rain (wet)
- Snow (frozen and/or chilled)
- Thunder (shocked)
- Moon (moonlit)
- Blood Moon (bloodlit)
- Meteor Shower (shocked)
We also have the Disco event, but that’s an admin only event that’s done during updates, where crops will turn into flashing neon light as.
The Grow A Garden team is adding a brand new weather event to the game, and it’s the Tornado weather event.
Whenever a weather event happens, it can mutate your crops, and it’s these mutations that increase the value of your items.
So, it’s super exciting that we’re going to get at least one new weather event, which will help to increase the value of our crops.
The newest weather to be added to the game in the upcoming Grow A Garden update, is the tornado weather event.
The tornado weather isn’t going to be an admin event like the Disco event. It is going to be a normal weather type we can get in-game, just like meteor showers or thunder.
From the sneak peek, it looks like the tornado will happens on the Lunar Glow display in the center, with swirling winds.
We don’t know how long a tornado will last within the game, but if your fruits/crops are affected by the tornado, they will get a “twisted” mutation, as a brand new mutation to the game, and will help increase the multiplier for your crops too, so you earn more.
There is a new Grow A Garden update this coming Saturday, and the name hasn’t been revealed (yet), however the above image was shared to promote the update, so it looks like it could be this weekend that we get the new weather addition to the game.
