The Moon Cat pet is the newest pet within the Grow A Garden game. We already have two other cats as pets, with the standard cat, and the ginger tabby cat.
I love the moon cat personally, and keep on reading to find out all about the benefits of having this cat, plus the information on how you can get your own moon cat within the game, before it leaves the game for good.

How To Get The Moon Cat Pet In Grow A Garden
The Grow A Garden Moon Cat launched as part of the new Twilight Shop event, which appears during the “moon” events on the hour.
When it’s on the hour, you’ll either get the Twilight Moon and shop, or the Blood Moon and shop, both of which appear from the floor.
In both shops, you can access to limited edition items, and the Moon Cat is one of the super limited edition items inside the Twilight Shop.
Almost all of the pets within Grow A Garden can be obtained through the eggs, and hatching them, but the Moon Cat is a fully grown pet which you can purchase for 100,000,000 (one hundred million sheckles) – which is the most expensive pet we’ve ever had in the game thus far.
Before the launch of the Moon Cat, the Blood Owl was the most expensive at 60,000,000, so it’s quite an increase to 100,000,000.

Benefits Of The Moon Cat Pet In Grow A Garden
The moon cat has such a pretty design, and when it is nighttime in the game, her features glow in the moonlight (similar to the echo frog).
When it comes to the benefit of owning a moon cat, there are two benefits, which is why, I believe, the price is considerably higher than the other pets we currently have in-game.

Every 59.51 seconds she naps for 20.33 seconds somewhere in your farm, and during that time, she’ll make new fruit within 20.33 studs of her will be made 1.52 x larger. PLUS, you get a 6.10% chance “moon” type fruit stays after harvest.
When the moon cat “naps” it lies on its back, and a green circle appears around where it is laying, and it is this area that will notice an increase in size.
It works on all fruits for the 1.52x larger size increase, and many people quickly plant one of the moon fruits (moon melon, moon mango or celestiberry) in the green circle, so the fruits will enjoy the increase.
I like that you also get the benefit of duplicating your moon type fruit too, and one of the best benefits, is how easy it is to level up.
The moon cat’s hunger bar fills up very quickly and easy, so it only needs a small basic fruit, and it ages up so quickly.
