The Rare Summer Egg is one of three brand new eggs that launched as part of the Grow A Garden Summer Season Update.
This update included new pets, new gear, new weather events, new seeds and so much more.
With three new eggs to purchase, there are thirteen brand new pets to collect, and the Rare Summer Egg is home to five of them.
The Grow A Garden Rare Summer Eggs are 25,000,0000 Sheckles to purchase, making them half the price of the Summer Paradise Eggs.
If you don’t want to spend sheckles on your Rare Summer Egg, you can buy them with Robux, and they are 99 Robux each.
The design is really cute, with a pastel to bright blue gradient color design. The gradient is so pretty!
When it comes to the rarity rating, the Rare Summer Egg is rated as being “Rare”, and there are five summer-themed pets you can hatch from one of the Rare Summer Eggs.
When it comes to the odds of a Rare Summer Egg appearing, the chances are given as:
- Common Egg = 100% of shops
- Common Summer Egg = 35% of shops
- Rare Summer Egg = 17% of shops
- Mythical Egg = 10% of shops
- Paradise Egg = 7% of shops
- Bug Egg = 3% of shops
After purchasing a Grow A Garden Rare Summer Egg, you’ll have to place it on the ground within your garden, and wait for it to hatch.
It takes the Rare Summer Egg 4 hours to hatch, but you can speed up the hatching process by paying 49 Robux, which will allow you to open your egg/s immediately, without waiting the four hours for them to hatch naturally.
Which Pets Are Inside The Grow A Garden Rare Summer Egg?
When you spend 25 million Sheckles, or 99 Robux on your Rare Summer Egg, you’ll hatch one of these adorable pets at random, and they each have different odds:
- Flamingo – 30% chance
- Toucan – 25% chance
- Sea Turtle – 20% chance
- Orangutan – 15% chance
- Seal – 10% chance
What Are The Benefits For The Pets Inside Grow A Garden Rare Summer Eggs?
All of the five different pets offer different benefits, and reasons why you’ll want to choose them for your garden. Here’s a rundown of the benefits of each one:
Flamingo
With the flamingo pet, every 3 minutes and 56 seconds, it’ll stand on one leg for 15.79 seconds. All plants and fruits within 13.48 studs will grow 15.40 x faster.
Toucan
When you have the toucan equipped as one of your pets, it grants tropical plants within 25.24 studs a 1.43x size bonus. Plus, it grants all tropical plants within 25.24 studs a 1.16x variant chance bonus.
Sea Turtle
The sea turtle is huge, and offers two benefits. Firstly, every 10.44 minutes, it shares its wisdom with a random pet, granting 1018.22 bonus experience.
Plus, every 116.22 seconds, it splashes water at a nearby fruit, and it has a 10.19% chance to become “wet”.
When the turtle does the “splashing” of the water, it goes up into the air, and does a backflip, which looks amazing considering how giant this pet is.
Orangutan
How huge is the orangutan pet? I gasped when this popped out of the shell. With the orangutan pet, when crafting with the orangutan equipped in your garden, there’s a 3.66% chance that the materials you use in the crafting recipe does not get consumed.
Seal
The seal is the rarest pet to find inside the Rare Summer Eggs, and it has the most amazing benefit!
With a seal equipped in your garden, there’s a 2.25% chance, that when you’re selling pets to Raphael or Steven, that you’ll get the egg the pet came from back.
I have tried this out and it works! You get a pop-up message after clicking “sell this” while holding the pet, and the message tells you you got the XYZ egg back, and it was the Paradise Egg I got back, which is 50 million sheckles, which is amazing.
Obviously, with a 2.25% chance, the chance is miniscule, but it’s still a chance, and it’s fun to be able to get free eggs from just selling your unwanted pets.
