What Is The Grow A Garden Ostrich Pet?
Each Summer Paradise Egg is 50 million sheckles, and it has a probability of just 7% in the Pet Egg Shop restocks. In addition to the Paradise Egg, there’s also the Rare Summer Egg, and the Common Summer Egg.
The ostrich pet is the most common pet that can be found in the Paradise Egg, and the list of all pets found in the egg are:
- Ostrich – 40%
- Peacock – 30%
- Capybara – 21%
- Scarlet Macaw – 8%
- Mimic Octopus – 1%
Whenever you hatch the ostrich, it kinda takes you by surprise as it has such a big size, due to how long its neck and legs are – it really is massive, even if you get a less than 2kg ostrich.
The ostrich has beige legs, beige neck and head, black feathers and white tail feathers and white tips on its wings.
It does a really cute waddle as it walks around your farm. It really does get in the way though, as it is just massive, and I can’t even imagine how big the titanic version of the ostrich pet would be, if 2kg is crazy massive.
What Does The Grow A Garden Ostrich Pet Do?
The ostrich has the coolest benefit, and one of my favorite 5 pets in the summer update, and its ability is unlike anything else we have in the game.
When you have an ostrich pet equipped in your garden, any pets you hatch (from any type of egg) will be hatched with an age bonus of 1 to 4.12 age.
So, normally, when you hatch a pet, it starts on Age 1. With an ostrich in your farm, your new pet will be hatched age 2 to age 5.12.
What is particularly cool about this, is that the ostriches can be stacked. The more ostriches you have equipped on your farm, the greater the age of your new pets.
So, if you have two ostriches, your new pet will be hatched between Age 2 and Age 10.24. Pets with a greater age sell for more, but it also means you can age and level up your pets quicker, so you can trade them in to unlock more pet equip slots, or more egg slots for allowing you to hatch more eggs in your garden at once.
Plus, the older the pet, the sooner the pet will do their ability, and this is the most common pet inside the Paradise Egg, which is amazing. If you have multiple ostriches in your garden, and a blood owl or night owl, it’ll make your pets age up insanely quickly.
