The Captain Puffer pet is one of three pets you can unlock when purchasing one of the three new Build A Ring Farm bundles.

The Build A Ring Farm Pirate Bundle costs 720 Robux, making it the most affordable bundle from the three bundles.
Inside this bundle, you get a Giant Captain Puffer pet, the Cannon Fruit Seed and the Pirate Farm base skin.
With the Pirate Farm base skin, you’ll get a 6% cash boost when the base is equipped. The base has a wood effect with ship steering wheels bordering each floor.
On the top of the base, there’s an epic looking pirate ship with red sails and a glowing eyed skull figurehead on the front of the ship. I think this base is my second favorite, with the Disco base being my top favorite.
When you purchase the Pirate Bundle, you get a Giant Captain Puffer Pet, which is a Legendary rarity pet. You’re guaranteed to get a “giant” size of the pet, so the stats will be the maximum possible.
What Does The Build A Ring Farm Captain Puffer Pet Do?
Here are the stats for the Captain Puffer at age 1, age 50 and also age 50 with a Super Pet Treat used.
Age 1
Waters 3 random plot plants, advancing each by 1 growth stage every 200s.
Age 50
Waters 3 random plot plants, advancing each by 1 growth stage every 151s.
Age 50 with Super Pet Treat
Waters 3 random plot plants, advancing each by 1 growth stage every 105.7s.
When the Captain Puffer pet does its ability, it doesn’t tell you which plants it watered. You just get a notification on the screen to tell you it watered 3 plants.
In all honesty, the ability is seriously mid. It is the most affordable bundle by a lot, so it is to be expected that the ability wouldn’t be as strong as the Gummy Gator or Disco Dodo, but I think I’d rather equip a Giant Gallimimus or Giant Polar Bear instead.
You will get a higher earnings boost with the Captain Puffer though, as you get a 5.4x cash boost. I’m gutted the ability isn’t better though as the design is adorable.
Once equipped, the Captain Puffer sways from side to side and with each movement, his captain hat jumps up and down constantly, and it has such a cute design with the little spikes all over.
