When it comes to Grow A Garden pets, the turtle was a pet that alluded me for the longest time. I got my first dragonfly, first raccoon and my first and only Moon Blossom before I got my first turtle.
Now I finally have the turtle, I’m going to share all the info about this green little guy, let you know the benefits, and is it a worthwhile pet to have in your garden? Keep reading to find out!

What Is The Grow A Garden Turtle Pet?
The Grow A Garden Turtle is one of the pets you can hatch out of the Legendary Egg.
Each Legendary Egg is 3,000,000 (three million sheckles), and I swear, the legendary eggs are the most frustrating eggs, even more so than the Bug Eggs, which are the absolute rarest and most expensive at 50 milion sheckles.
You can hatch one of these five pets within the legendary egg:
- Cow (white and brown) 42.55%
- Silver Monkey (grey) 42.54%
- Sea Otter (brown) 10.64%
- Turtle (green) 2.13%
- Polar Bear (white) 2.13%
I cannot believe how many cows I have hatched from legendary eggs. I genuinely believe the 42.55% chance percentage is wrong.
I have tried buying the Legendary Eggs with sheckles, and with Robux, to see if that improves my luck – it is said that Robux eggs are supposedly better odds, but I must open one cow every single day, and hardly ever see the sea otter or silver monkey.
The polar bear is the only pet I don’t have right now, and I cannot get one, no matter how many eggs I buy, but it took me weeks and weeks to finally get a turtle.
I do think the turtle was worth it, and I’ll explain why in the next section, but the turtle has the cutest bright green design, with yellowy green nails on his feet, and a dark green shell.

What Are The Benefits Of The Grow A Garden Turtle Pet?
If you love sprinklers, and do the sprinkler method (guide coming soon), you’re going to want a turtle pet.
It doesn’t do anything apart from helping you with your sprinklers, which is such a unique benefit, and it’s so unlike any other pet in the game.
With the turtle, all sprinklers last 20.38% longer. There’s no time increment mentioned, so there’s no cooldown period either, it just makes your sprinklers (basic, advanced, godly, master and honey) last 20.38% longer, which is just amazing.
Sprinklers are expensive anyway, especially the Master Sprinker, as it costs 10,000,000 sheckles, is extremely rare, and lasts 10 minutes.

When you use the turtle pet at the same time as a master sprinkler, it will last you for 12 minutes instead of 10, which makes a massive difference.
It’s the kind of pet that you can equip and put down only when you’re using sprinklers, as there’s no other benefit, so you can pick it up and swap it for a different pet when you’re not using sprinklers.
As the turtle ages, it’ll increase the percentage too, so make sure you age up your turtle, so it makes your sprinklers last even longer.
