It’s starting to look like the Dress To Impress The Petal Update is going to be bigger and more exciting than the DTI Valentine’s Update which launched back in February.
This upcoming petal update is their spring themed update, and we’ve already seen a lot of new things, like poses, animated walks, patterns, accessories and now there’s the most insane robot themed outfit.

StudioZac posted in the DTI Discord, asking, Did someone say futuristic cyberpunk style? in the announcements channel, alongside the link to the TikTok video.
Then Owen (m0toprincess) posted some extra photos in the sneak peeks channel, and this outfit was created by Owen and HeavenlyT65, and Owen mentioned they still need to fix some stuff, and make it fit male bodies too.

This outfit is set to launch during the Petal Update, which launches April 26th, and it’s nothing like what you’d expect to see launch in a spring themed update, especially when you look at the colorful, cutesy twenty patterns they’re launching.

In this photo, we can see a really good look at all the different elements within this outfit.
It looks like there are thigh-high leg pieces, sleeves which go up to the shoulders, and a main body piece, and in the promo video, you can see neon accents, so hopefully we can use the material changer on the outfit, to add neon elements, to give it a real cyberpunk vibe.

Also, in the TikTok video they launched to announce The Robot Collection, the model is doing cute robotic type poses we don’t currently have, so this could be a sneak peek at the new poses launching in this update.

We haven’t had any mentions of a spring quest for the spring update, and right now, the valentine’s quest is still available.
It would be so cool if the Dress To Impress The Robot Collection was a reward prize, like the pretty top and skirt we got in the Valentine’s update, but I don’t think it’s going to be a quest prize, as it’s a little too random.

How Much Will The Dress To Impress The Robot Collection Be?
Seeing as the DTI in-game shop is being completely revamped, I think this outfit, which is very random for spring, will be part of the Robux items collection.
Especially as there’s already the “Futuristic Suit” within the Robux range, so it makes sense that this robot theme outfit would join the collection.
Plus, the outfit could go on the wall where the Queen Of Hearts outfit is, as that’ll be removed from the game before the spring update launches.
So, that space on the wall in the dressing room would be perfect for display there between the Christmas and Brat chests.
If the Dress To Impress The Robot Collection is a Robux outfit, I think it will cost more than the Queen Of Hearts Set, which was $399 for two pieces, and this outfit is at least three pieces, and it’s so much more detailed and special.
As soon as we know if the outfit is in-game currency or Robux, I’ll update this post for you.
