The Grow A Garden Easter Event update is launching on Saturday, and it is the biggest update the game has seen since the three-part Christmas update.
This update is super exciting as it’s the first update Jandel and his talented team have been involved in, since Christmas.
At the time of writing this post, there are 960,000 people signed up for the update. When you compare that to the St Patrick’s update with only 51,700 people signing up, it shows how excited everyone is for this update.
The Grow A Garden Easter Update is dropping at a completely different time, so keep on reading to find out exactly when it’ll be dropping…

We have had a lot of really disappointing updates since Christmas:
- New Year Event
- Garden Games (aka the Carnival event)
- Feed A Pet
- The Bird’s Nest
- Buttercup Quest
- Black Buttercup
- Valentine’s Part 1
- Valentines Part 2
- Alien Invasion
- Harvest Party
- Saint Patrick’s Update
- Community Garden Update
It has been 3 months and 5 days since we had a proper update, and wow is it overdue. Many of us, myself included, kept playing Grow A Garden through all of these updates, and the fact we are getting a proper update this coming Saturday is amazing.
Whilst the updates have been disappointing, we have to appreciate that at least the devs did keep doing updates, and didn’t just abandon new updates entirely (hello Garden Horizons), whilst they were working with a smaller team.

The Grow A Garden Easter Update is going to launch on Saturday, the 4th of April at 2pm EDT.
The times below are all times when the update drops, and NOT when the admin abuse starts.
Jandel has confirmed he will be doing the admin abuse, and it’s likely it won’t be DJ Jhai as Jandel announced that DJ Jhai is getting married on Friday.
Jandel always used to do a one-hour long admin abuse before every update, but Frazer only ever did 30 minute admin abuses (and often arrived late), so I would recommend logging into Grow A Garden one hour before the times listed below, as you don’t want to miss Jandel’s first admin abuse in a very long time.
