The newest Grow A Garden event dropped today, and it is themed around Saint Patrick’s Day, which falls on the 17th of March every year.
This event doesn’t feature any new pets, but we have two cosmetics and one seed. If you’d like to know what the event is, what the rewards are, and if it’s worth your time, keep on reading…

In the middle of the map, there’s a dude in a top hat (again), and he gives you 3 options when you try to talk to him. You can ask how you can participate, start the Rainbow event early and nevermind.

Every 60 minutes, at the top of the hour, a big rainbow appears in the sky in front of the Gear Shop and Pet Shop.
When the rainbow spawns in, three gold pots of gold appear somewhere on the map. The pots of gold are one use only, so if you’re playing with multiple players, those three pots of gold are the only ones, so you need to be quick.
The rainbow can be seen for 10 minutes, and during that time, as well as the pots of gold, the rainbow mutates fruits in your garden with the new “Luck” mutation.
You have to walk up to the pots of gold, and hand over 3 x Luck mutated fruits. If you hand over 3 fruits with the Luck mutation, you can claim the reward that is shown above the pot of gold.

There are three different rewards you can get, and they’re at random, with one item being much, much rather than the other two.
The most common reward is the Clover String Lights, the second most common is the Clover Statue, and the rarest item you can get is the Four Leaf Clover seed.

It took me SO long to find a pot of gold with a Four Leaf Clover seed as the reward.
As well as being able to potentially get the Four Leaf Clover as a free reward during the Rainbow event, you can buy the new Four Leaf Clover seeds via the Shop, using Robux or Trade Tokens.
The shop doesn’t have an explanation on what you’re actually buying, it just shows x1 Egg Luck Ability + x1 Egg Luck Ability + x1 Egg Luck Ability, and the cost is 1199 Robux or 1199 Trade Tokens, and it’s called the Saint Patricks Bundle.

Here is the Clover String Lights cosmetic item you can get from the Pots of Gold, and it will be the most common reward you’ll get for handing over the 3 x Luck mutated fruits.
It is a light-up cosmetic item with hanging green four-leaf clovers on a green stand.

The second cosmetic item you can get from doing the Rainbow Event, is this Gold Clover Statue. Sometimes, the gold statues within Grow A Garden have a function, but there isn’t an ability or benefit of having the Clover Statue – it is just a sparkly, gold-colored four-leaf clover.
During the Rainbow Event, which is just 10 minutes long, you’ll get on average 5 to 7 Luck mutated fruits over the 10 minutes.
The key to doing this event is using a T-Rex pet to spread the Luck mutation across your garden as quick as you can.
The weights and plant rarity is NOT important in this event. It can literally be a Carrot or a Bone Blossom, but if you have a T-Rex, it will spread the Luck mutation across your garden, so you can hand in the 3 Luck mutated fruits for each Pot Of Gold during every Rainbow Event.

The Four Leaf Clover seed is not a one time harvest, which is amazing. Many of the plants we’ve had lately have been one time harvest crops, but this is a regrowing plant.
When you place the seed on the ground, a large green circle shows around the spot you’ve placed the seed, and it says “EGG LUCK BOOST”.
This brand new Transcendent rarity seed is designed to give you multiple types of egg luck, and it’s a super cool ability for a plant.
You can use a Reclaimer on the Four Leaf Clover, as it isn’t a one-time harvest plant, so you don’t have to worry about using a Hummingbird to try and reclaim a one-time harvest seed.

The Four Leaf Clover plant has a thick, straight stem in different shades of green, with one single Four Leaf Clover fruit at the top.

The fruit grows in different angles, and it sells for a lot. I had a 4.01kg Four Leaf Clover, and it sold for 125,000, so I think you could possibly grow a huge one when using sprinklers, and/or pets to boost the size of fruits like Moon Cats, Orange Tabby Cats or Black Cats.
You don’t even need a super OP T-Rex pet for this event, as you can only hand in a max of 9 Luck mutated fruits every hour.
Once you have one Luck fruit, you can use any age T-Rex, not just titanic ones, and it’ll spread the Luck across the other fruits in your garden.
It is best if you have a garden with few plants with no other mutations, so the T-Rex will only spread Luck, and not any of the other mutations. I chose to plant 10 Coconut trees, as you get around 20 coconuts per tree.

When you plant your Four Leaf Clover Seed/s, you need to place your eggs within the big green circle that surrounds the plant, so your eggs get the “Egg Boost Luck”. If you own multiple seeds, try and get the plants as close as possible, so the ability overlaps for maximum results.

In this image, you can see the notification that appears once every 10 minutes;
“Four Leaf Clover is boosting your egg luck (+5% size, +10 age, +8% recovery)
The Four Leaf Clover plant, when fully grown, is designed to boost the size of pets by 5%, increase the age of a hatched pet by the age of 10 years, and an 8% chance of the egg being recovered when hatched.
What makes the seed so OP, is that it combines with other pets you have equipped, for example, you could have a Koi army when hatching pets, and you’ll get the Koi ability of the pet, as well as the ability from the Four Leaf Clover.

I don’t know why, but the plant does not give you the “increase the age of a hatched pet by the age of 10” every time.
Even with just one seed planted, you rarely get the full 10 years, and I have 7 of the seeds, so you’d think I’d get a 70+ age boost every time I hatch an egg, but very often it ends up being LESS than 10 years, even with 7 of the seed planted and fully grown.
These are some examples of ages I’ve got, but I’ve got everything from an age boost of 2 years to a maximum of 77 years. I don’t know how I got the 77 years, as I only have 7 seeds planted, so the max should be a boost of 70 years.

What was crazy, when hatching eggs to test the new Four Leaf Clover seed, with the 7 seeds planted, I hatched a titanic pet, so the age boost of 5% for every one of the 7 x seeds clearly paid off.

These were the pets I hatched in that batch of eggs, and you can see the Golden Lab was the fifth from last pet I hatched – and you can see the other ages and weights of the pets I hatched in this batch.
This titanic Golden Lab hatched age 22, and weighed 25.71kg (so a base weight of 8.84kg. I know it’s only a Golden Lab, but if these 7 x Four Leaf Clover seeds gave a 5% size boost each, that means each seed gave a size boost of 0.44kg, and without the 7 x Four Leaf Clovers, the Golden Lab could’ve hatched at a weight of 5.74kg, and because of the Four Leaf Clovers, they boosted the weight by 3.09kg.
Make sure you farm as many of the Four Leaf Clover seeds as much as possible in the next week, as the seeds do appear to overlap with their benefits.
