We have two brand new seeds within Grow A Garden, which launched as part of the brand new Twilight Shop.
With the Farm Cosmetics update, we saw the removal of the blood moon shop and Lunar Glow event, but due to negative feedback, the devs returned them both to the game, and even introduced a brand new shop, that’s only available when it’s not a blood moon event.

Whenever it’s a “normal” moon, and not a blood moon, we now get a pop-up shop which appears from the floor, next to the owl’s display, and when you open that shop, you get access to a number of celestial and moon themed items.
Just like the Seed Shop and Gear Shop, the stock rotates, and is often out of stock, so you do need to check every time there’s a moon, to make sure you don’t miss out on your most wanted items.
Included within the new Twilight Shop, there are Night Eggs, Night Seed Packs, Twilight Crates, Star Callers, Moon Cat, Celestiberry Seed and Moon Mango Seed.
It’s always super exciting whenever we get a new seed; it is a gardening game after all. We didn’t get anything garden related in the Farm Cosmetics update – it was just items to decorate the garden, so I’m delighted we have two brand new seeds.
The Moon Mango Seed is one billion sheckles – yes, really. I cannot believe how expensive it is.

When you purchase the seed, if you can, seeing as it’s the rarest item in the Twilight Shop, it is a purple and lilac color.
It is basically identical to the normal mango seed, in that it grows a tree, with big rectangular “leaves” – except, it’s navy and purples, instead of the super bright orange, red and yellows you get with the normal mango seed.
You don’t know how big your Grow A Garden Moon Mango is going to be until you plant it. I’ve bought three so far, one was tiny, but the other two were really good sizes.
Once the mangos appear, they look like the normal mangos, except they’re navy and lilac, and they look SO pretty.

People have been complaining about how low the price is for the Moon Mangos, once you harvest them.
On Jandel’s most recent TikTok video, someone asked him to “buff” the moon mangos, and he replied simply with “OK”, as the resell price for the mangos is genuinely awful, especially when you’re paying 1 billion sheckles for these seeds.
So, hopefully, we’ll see an improvement in the selling price, because it does feel kinda unfair right now, how low the resell price is, and I’ll update this post if and when that happens.
