The Dragon Pepper Seed launched as part of the Crafters Seed Pack, within the Grow A Garden Crafting Update.
There are six different seeds you can get within the Crafters Seed Pack, and the Dragon Pepper is the rarest seed within the pack, with a miniscule 0.5% chance. Keep on reading to find out more about the Dragon Pepper Seed, and whether I think it was worth the hustle (spoiler alert: no, I don’t)…

The Dragon Pepper is a “Divine” seed, and one of the six seeds you can get with these seed packs. Here are all six seeds:
- Crocus – 40% chance
- Succulent – 25% chance
- Violetcorn – 20% chance
- Bendboo – 10% chance
- Cocovine – 4.5% chance
- Dragon Pepper – 0.5% chance
I got Crocus, Succulent, Violetcorn, Bendboo and Cocovine so easily within an hour of the update launching, but the Dragon Pepper seed was crazy hard to get.
To get a Crafters Seed Pack, you have to purchase one Flower Seed Pack from the Queen Bee’s Honey Shop, and then go to the potting bench, and craft the Flower Seed Pack into a Crafters Seed Pack, which takes 20 minutes to do.

As someone who now has all six seeds from the Crafters Seed Pack, and all six seeds from the Flower Seed Pack, I really don’t think the plants from the Crafters Seed Pack compared to how good the plants were from the Flower Seed Packs.
The sunflower was the top tier seed from the Flower Seed Pack, and the sunflower plant is amazing, and the picked sunflower head goes for crazy money with mutations.
I feel so underwhelmed by the Dragon Pepper, and while I am so relieved I managed to get one before the seed pack got replaced in the summer update, please don’t be gutted if you didn’t manage to get one.

Once it’s fully grown, it’s so underwhelming. It grows extremely slowly for a start, even with sprinklers and a watering can.
I think my plant might just be a short one, but it has two branches from the center, and the max amount of Dragon Pepper fruits I’ve been able to get is five fruits total.
If you don’t use sprinklers, the fruits are genuinely tiny, and end up selling for a pretty small amount.
These were the biggest dragon peppers I could get, and I used two godly sprinklers, two advanced sprinklers, two basic sprinklers, three moon cats, one orange tabby and a cat. I ensured I had multiple napping cats within the root area of the plant, and these were the very best sizes I was able to get with lots and lots of trying.

My biggest dragon pepper is the one above, and without mutations, was 18.82kg, and the selling price via Steven was 874,454.
That is an amazing amount for no mutations, but it doesn’t compare to my biggest money earner right now, which is the Hive Fruit.
When you use sprinklers and moon cats with the Hive Fruit tree, the Hive Fruits might not look any bigger than normal, but once harvested, they end up being 20-40kg, and sell for millions, and you can get up to 6 Hive Fruits on one tree at a time.
I’m only saying this, if you’re disappointed to not have a got a dragon pepper yet. I am not making any more Crafters Seed Packs now, and I’m keeping all of my Flower Seed Packs to (hopefully) get Lilacs and Sunflowers, as they sell for way more, especially when used with sprinklers and moon cats.
