Grow A Garden launched their latest update today; the Working Bees update, aka the Crafting Update, where we can craft tools via Bizzy Bear, or craft seeds via the potting bench next to the Bizzy Bear.
One of the newest seeds to be added to the game, is the Violetcorn seed, which is only available via the new Exotic Crafters Seed Pack, which you can purchase via the shop button on the side of the screen, or you can craft your own crafter’s seed packs by using 10 jars of honey and one flower seed pack (which you buy via Queen Bee and her Honey Shop).

The Violetcorn is one of six brand new seeds you can “win” in the Crafters Seed Pack, with all six seeds being:
- Crocus – 40% chance
- Succulent – 25% chance
- Violetcorn – 20% chance
- Bendboo – 10% chance
- Cocovine – 4.5% chance
- Dragon Pepper – 0.5% chance
These are the odds for the Crafters Seed Pack, when you craft the seed pack via the potting bench next to Bizzy Bear.
If you purchase the Premium Exotic Crafters Seed Pack, the odds are slightly different:
- Crocus – 39% chance
- Succulent – 25% chance
- Violetcorn – 20% chance
- Bendboo – 10% chance
- Cocovine – 4.5% chance
- Dragon Pepper – 0.5% chance
- Rainbow Pack – 1% chance
I got my Violetcorn seed in a free pack I crafted via the crafting bench, and it was my first pull, so it wasn’t a bad first pull.

The Violetcorn Seed has a slightly different shape to the usual rectangular seed shape, with a slightly twisted section at the top, in two shades of purple.

When you plant the Grow A Garden Violetcorn Seed, it grows just like the usual corn seed, with the straight stalk, and flat top where the corn grows from.
The stalk is green, with purple leaves which sprout from the sides, and the top of the stalk is green too.

The Violetcorn Seed is a multi-harvest seed, so you can harvest the corn over and over, rather than being a grow it, pick it and it’s over situation.
Just like the name suggests, the Violetcorn is a super pretty purple ombre color, from the deepest purple at the base of the corn, fading into a pale lilac at the top.
It has an almost twisted shape to it, compared to the regular corn shape, and it does look pretty, and very different compared to the regular corns.

My first Violetcorn was 2.99kg, and when taken to the Sell Stuff stand, when I asked how much it was worth, Steven said it was 49,700 sheckles, which is considerably better than how much a corn would cost you.
A normal corn of this size would give you 90 sheckles, so to get nearly 50k sheckles for a fruit of the same size is amazing.
If you want to get your hands on your own Violetcorn, make sure you craft yourself a Crafters Seed Pack, by using your honey and Flower Seed Packs from the Honey Shop.
