The Grow A Garden Ghoul Garden Part 2 Update launched this past Saturday, and with the second part of the update, we got some brand new pets.
There are new pets inside the Creepy Critters shop, within the Halloween market, and there are new pets we can potentially get as part of the grave digging quest, like the Crow, the Goblin and the Hex Serpent.
None of those pets will give you exclusive mutations, but there is one extra pet, that can give you exclusive mutations. Keep reading to find out more…

As part of the Beanstalk Event, we got the Spriggan Pet inside the Giant’s shop at the top of the beanstalk. The regular Spriggan has the ability to mutate your fruits with the Bloom mutation. It wasn’t an overwhelming pet, especially now we have the Tiger pet, which can give you the Bloom mutation.
However, for the Ghoul Garden Part 2 update, the devs introduced something new that they’ve never done before.

Inside the Grow A Garden shop, there is a brand new Twilight Pack, which costs 399 Robux, and for those Robux, you get the following items:
- 200 x Candy Corn Currency
- 1 x Bat Caller Charm
- 1 x Ghostly Dark Spriggan Pet
In the shop, you can also purchase the Premium Spooky Eggs, and doing so, gives you the chance to hatch “Ghostly” pets, which are the upgraded, more powerful versions of the ordinary pets inside the standard Spooky Egg.
We can purchase the Dark Spriggan inside the Creepy Critters shop, in the Halloween Market, but if you want the Ghostly Dark Spriggan, you can only purchase it from the Grow A Garden Shop for Robux.
What does the Ghostly Dark Spriggan pet do? Well, a 1.20kg Ghostly Dark Spriggan at age 1 does the following:
“Every 11:01m, spreads its roots and all fruit within 45.54 studs have a 30.36% to get the Blight or a rare chance for Necrotic mutation instead.”
I think the Ghostly Dark Spriggan might be one of the most broken pets when it comes to mass mutating fruits, and it’s going to be so valuable for future events, that we need mutated fruits for higher rewards, or for plowing through the Battle Pass quickly.
I have stacked my “event” garden with nothing but Sugar Apples, Beanstalks and Coconuts for the Jack-O-Lantern event, and it mutates in the masses, especially as I’ve aged mine to 100, and you can get even crazier results if you manage to get your Ghostly Dark Spriggan Nightmare.

How To Get The Nectrotic Mutation In Grow A Garden
The Nectrotic mutation is an exclusive mutation that you can only get with the Ghostly Dark Spriggan.
The normal Dark Spriggan can give you the Blight mutation, which is a x8 multiplier, and the Ghostly Dark Spriggan can give you the Blight mutation also, but it can also give you the Nectrotic mutation, which you won’t be able to achieve without the Ghostly Dark Spriggan.
We do have the Tiger pet, which grants “any” mutation from the mutation section in the Garden Guide, but we haven’t had any confirmation from the devs, that the Necrotic mutation is something you *can* get from the Tiger.
I think it’s unlikely, seeing as they want people to spend the Robux to get this exclusive, overpowered pet, but it is possible that the Tiger might be able to give this exclusive mutation. Maybe not while the Twilight Pack is on sale, but potentially in the future.
When your fruit gets the Necrotic mutation, white smoke appears all the way around the fruit, with little purple animated stars – it looks really cool on the fruit, and you can use both Blight mutated fruits and Necrotic mutated fruits for handing in to the Ancient Jack-O-Lantern for epic rewards like Spooky Eggs and Halloween Gear Boxes.
