Everyone is playing Grow A Garden in Roblox right now, and it’s crazy that this game only launched in March.
If you are having fun playing Roblox Grow A Garden, like me, and you’re planting all the seeds that become available within The Seed Shop aka Sam’s Shop.
The crops are relatively easy to harvest, you just walk upto the crops, and either press “E” if you’re on a computer/desktop, or press the harvest button on mobile.
There is one crop in particular, that’s hard to harvest, and that’s the coconuts. Coconuts are regarded a “mythical” crop, which means it’s very rare, and it’s difficult to get your hands on the Coconut seeds within the seed shop, as they are “mythical”.
If you do manage to find the coconuts on sale within the seed shop, each seed is 6000 Sheckles (the in-game currency), or spend 435 Robux for one seed.
You have to plant your coconuts inside one of your eight plots within your garden.
Be careful with the placement of the coconut seed, because the base of the coconut tree will be massive, so I always place the coconut seeds in the corners of the crop boxes, as you’re not wasting any precious space within your plots, and it’ll make it easier to harvest them.
Once your coconut trees have been planted, they’ll take between 6-12 in-game hours to grow. The tree will grow and grown, and eventually, there will be coconuts growing along each of the leaves of the coconut tree.
To get to the coconuts, you simply climb up the trunk of the palm tree, so you can reach the coconuts, but sometimes, it’s a nightmare to get the coconuts, which is annoying when it’s nighttime, and you want to harvest crops as quickly as you can, so you can participate in the night quests with Wise Owl.
I’ve got some tips you can try, to help you get those hard-to-reach coconuts, so you don’t have to spend ages trying to maneuver yourself to get those coconuts.
My biggest tip for getting coconuts, is to plant 4-5 bamboo seeds around the bases of your coconut trees. Bamboo seeds are 4000 Sheckles, and I recommend doing 4-5 bamboo seeds around the base of every coconut tree you have.
You don’t know how tall each bamboo seed is going to grow, so by planing 4-5 bamboo seeds around the base of each coconut tree, you’re giving yourself a better chance of growing a super tall bamboo, which you can scale to reach the coconuts.
Sometimes, the bamboo will be taller than the coconut tree, and you can climb the bamboo and jump onto the top of a palm tree leaf, and then collect all of the coconuts.
If your bamboos are fully grown and too short, collect them and sell them, as they’re not worth keeping. Then, plant 3-4 more bamboo seeds again, until you get a super tall bamboo that you can climb to get your coconuts.
Once you’re near the coconut, you can just collect them up. You can jump from the top of the (tallest) bamboo onto the coconut tree’s leaves, and it’s super quick to do.
You just click “E” and you’ll harvest all the coconuts, and sometimes you don’t even need to jump.
My next tip, is growing coconuts close together. Wait until you have one coconut tree, and it is fully grown so you can see which angle it’s going to grow in.
Then, follow up with planting a coconut seed as close as possible. Doing this will stunt the growth of the second coconut tree, and it won’t develop the full amount of leaves, but that’s absolutely fine, the second tree is a prop for jumping up, and not for growing coconuts.
It will make it much easier to get the coconuts, if you can climb on top of a smaller coconut tree, and simply jump across to the bigger tree you’re trying to get the coconuts down from.
The other option you have, is doing some parkour jumping, and simply jumping along the trunk of the palm tree and jumping between the leaves, to get on top of the leaf canopy, to collect all of the coconuts.
This takes longer to do, as you will fall almost every time, which is why I prefer to use the bamboo trick, or the double coconut tree trick, but they both work, and I hope this helps you to reach those pesky coconuts without spending ages jumping and falling trying to get them down!
