We don’t have long to wait until the next Dress To Impress update, with the Dress To Impress The Petal Update launching on April 26th.
The DTI Petal Update is also known as the Dress To Impress Spring Update, and let’s talk about how much currency do we need for the Dress To Impress spring update…

If you want to read an in-depth post on everything we’ve got coming in the Dress To Impress Petal Update, you can read my post right here.
As a recap, we know the in-game shop is going to be completely revamped, with a brand new interface, and that hopefully means we’re going to be getting new stuff too.
It makes sense that the DTI team would relaunch and revamp their in-game shop with some new items, to help promote the new shop and get players excited about the new update.

Right now, the Dress To Impress shop has the following sections:
- Game Passes (Custom Makeup, VIP, Run Faster, Increased Item Limit & x2 Money)
- Purchase In-Game Currency
- Robux Items
- In-Game Currency Items
- Pattern Pack
- Makeup Pack
- Poses
The in-game shop is going to get a new UI, so it’s going to look completely different, but it’s likely we’re going to be getting some new things too.
One of the brand-new changes with the new DTI shop, is that we will be able to gift Robux items to other players in-game.
This isn’t something we’ve been able to do, but from the 26th of April, we will be able to gift any of the Robux items to other players, which is such a cool feature.

This is why I think The Robot Collection is going to be a Robux outfit, and not currency, because it’s the perfect new Robux outfit to promote this brand new feature in-game.
We don’t know for sure if the Robot Collection will be a quest reward, in-game currency outfit, code item or Robux item, but I would 100% expect the outfit to be a Robux outfit, just like the Queen Of Hearts Set from the Valentine’s Update.

We are also going to be getting some new animated walks, animated jumps and animated idles, which is a whole new category to the game.
These new poses have been confirmed to be in-game currency, and not Robux, and it’s likely they’re going to be expensive, as they’ve taken a lot of developing to finesse them.
How Much Currency Do We Need For The Dress To Impress Spring Update?
The Dress To Impress team haven’t yet given any indication of how much in-game currency we’ll need for the DTI Petal Update on April 26th, but it’s a good idea to plan ahead with a rough estimate on what we think we’ll need, so we have enough time to farm enough currency.
For the Spring Update, we’re getting the animated walks, jumps and idles, and I fully anticipate they’ll be between $5000 and $10,000 in-game currency.
We are getting four new pose packs in the spring update, and that includes a K-Pop 2 Pose Pack and Style Showdown Pose Pack.
If we look at past pose packs, is likely to be around $6000 and $8000 each.
Then, we have the DTI Spring Update Pattern Pack which, if it’s similar to the Valentine’s Pattern Pack, is likely to be $4000.
We are bound to get at least one new currency item (clothing or accessory), so depending on what kind of item/s it will be, should be around $3000 to $5000.
So, if you were to plan ahead for the spring update, I’d recommend farming a total of $20,000 to $30,000 in-game currency, if possible, just in-case, so you’ll be able to buy all the new stuff.
I know that sounds like a lot of money, but we have two weeks to farm currency, and Style Showdown is a great way to farm currency, as you can get $200 currency just for winning a round, so the currency does quickly build-up.
