It’s been kinda quiet in the Dress To Impress since the petal update launched a fortnight ago. We all thought it would remain quiet until the next update launched, which was estimated to be the Summer update in June, but the DTI team has surprised us all today with a brand new, super-exciting Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update.

The Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update is launching in one week, on Saturday, the 17th of May at 11am EST.
This update is special, as it’s on World Culture Day, which falls on Wed, 21 May 2025, and this newest DTI update is going live on the 17th of May 2025, and will run until the 23rd of May, so we have six days for this update, which is exciting.
World Culture Day was first created in 2002, and it happens once a year, and this year, Dress To Impress has chosen to embrace the occasion, to create an educational update within the game.
For this update, the DTI team has taken the time to research different cultures around the world, to bring them and their traditions to the game.
Umoyae confirmed on Twitter, that she will be writing some educational “tidbits” throughout, with Zac confirming that there will be educational guides that come with the items, so we can learn about their importance and origins.
This is such a cool idea, and an excellent way to raise awareness within the game.
Although we don’t have any sneak peek images (yet), we have had confirmation that the Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update is going to include;
- Several cultural and traditional items releasing
- New hairs
- New patterns
- New accessories
- & more!

This is the first sneak peek for the Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update.
We can see four different sets which are coming in the update, and these sets are going to be free.
This isn’t all of the sets we are getting either, this is just a sneak peek of the sets coming.
Confirmed by the dev team, the four sets we are definitely getting are:
- Brazilian Set
- Indian Set
- Thai Set
- Filipino Set
They are all insanely beautiful, and I cannot wait to see the other sets coming our way.
“Come celebrate World Day of Cultural Diversity with us! 🌏🧭 This is just the beginning of our steps towards diverse inclusion, we’re highlighting multiple cultures across the globe! 🗺️⭐️ Learn, and experience the beauty of other cultures with us! 💚“

Although we don’t know ALL of the cultures will be honored within the Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update, we can see the new logo for the update above, and some iconic buildings/statues.
We can see the Taj Mahal, Buddha, Christ, The Redeemer Stature, the Rizal Monument from the Philippines, a Pagoda and other monuments or buildings of interest, to suggest we’ll see items and cultures that include South America, Asia and the Far East.
For this update, I think we will get at least one code item, as StudioZac has confirmed that everything in this update is free.
You don’t need to worry about farming currency ahead of this update, as you’ll be able to get your hands on everything for free.
During the Lunar New Year update, we got three codes, so I think we might get multiple codes for this update too, which will be exciting.
As well as this update announcement, the team has also asked for diverse content creators to fill in a Google form with their information, particularly, if you create DTI content in a language other than English. I love this idea, as there’s so many DTI creators all over the world, and it’s good to see other nationalities and cultures getting the spotlight.
