We have three brand new eggs within Grow A Garden, thanks to the summer update. There’s the Paradise Summer Egg, which is the rarest and most expensive, the Rare Summer Egg, and the Common Summer Egg.
All three eggs can be found in the Pet Egg Shop (stock permitting), and I’m going to give you the full low-down on what you can find inside the Common Summer Egg, how much it costs, and whether the eggs are worth purchasing.

The Grow A Garden Common Summer Eggs are 1,000,0000 sheckles to purchase.
That’s quite a steep price increase from the 50,000 price on the ordinary Common Egg.
If you don’t want to spend your sheckles on the Common Summer Egg, you can also purchase it with Robux, and it costs 29 Robux per egg.
Compared to the Paradise Summer Egg and the Rare Summer Egg, the design of the Common Summer Egg is kinda plain and simplistic.
It is a bright yellow color all over, with no details or gradients like the other two eggs.

For the rarity rating, the Common Summer Egg is rated as “Common”, and there are only three summer-themed pets you can hatch from one of the eggs, which is the smallest pet selection from the three eggs. Both the Paradise and Rare Summer Eggs give you five pets to collect, but this egg only has three pets.

When it comes to the odds of a Common Summer Egg appearing, the chances are given as:
- Common Egg = 100% of shops
- Common Summer Egg = 35% of shops
- Rare Summer Egg = 17% of shops
- Mythical Egg = 10% of shops
- Paradise Egg = 7% of shops
- Bug Egg = 3% of shops
Once you’ve bought your Common Summer Egg, you just have to place it down somewhere in your garden, and allow the egg to grow in size until it says “Ready”, and you can then hatch it to see which pet is inside.

You only have to wait 20 minutes for your Common Summer Egg to hatch, and if you can’t wait just 20 minutes, there is an option to speed up the hatching process, but you have to spend 49 Robux.

Which Pets Are Inside The Grow A Garden Common Summer Egg?
When you spend 1 million Sheckles, or 29 Robux on your Rare Summer Egg, you’ll hatch one of these three at random, and they each have different odds, with the starfish being the most common.
- Starfish – 50% chance
- Seagull – 25% chance
- Crab – 25% chance

What Are The Benefits For The Pets Inside Grow A Garden Common Summer Eggs?
All three of the pets offer different benefits, and reasons why you’ll want to choose them for your garden. Here’s a rundown of the benefits of each one:

Starfish
The starfish is the most common pet inside the Common Summer Eggs, and it has a very “mid” benefit, where it will gain an additional 6-7 XP per second, and that is literally it. Maybe brutal, but kinda pointless in my opinion, and I sold all of mine already.

Seagull
For the seagull pet, when you’re shovelling plants (and destroying them), they have a 3.38% chance to drop the equivalent seed – does not work on fruit.
So, if you’re using the shovel gear to destroy a plant in your garden, there’s a tiny, tiny chance you’ll get the plant back in your inventory in the form of a seed.

Crab
This adorable happy looking crab, every 6.09 minutes, it will go to another random player within your server, and “pinch” them for their money, getting you between 276 and 481 sheckles.
The “pinched” player doesn’t lose money, but you get a nice little cash bonus from the crab pinching other players with their claws. It looks so cute scuttling across the garden too.
