The next big Dress To Impress update is The Petal Update, launching April 26th, and it’s the game’s spring update.
We already know we’re going to be getting the game’s first animated walks, jumps and idles, and now it’s official, we’re getting a brand new Dress To Impress The Petal Update Pose Pack, and Zac confirmed that all future poses within the game will be “soft action” poses and not rough action like the tweaked poses in the Valentine’s update.
Zac confirmed that in the DTI Spring Update, we’re going to be getting 3-4 pose packs, with two of the packs being officially confirmed:
- Style Showdown Dance & Pose Pack
- K-Pop 2 Pose Pack (a second edition of the K-Pop Pose Pack)
StudioZac gave us a sneak peek of some of the poses he’s working on for the Spring Petal Update, and gave us a sneak peek of four different poses.
It’s likely we’re going to be getting a Dress To Impress Spring Pose Pack, and it’s likely to be priced between $6000 (like the Valentine’s Pose Pack) and $7000 (like the Winter Pose Pack).
It might only be available from the 26th of April, and the Summer update, whenever that launches, as DTI tends to discontinue the seasonal pose packs, whenever the next seasonal update launches.
The first pose we’re going to be getting is a cross-legged box, and it’ll work for both the feminine and masculine bodies, with each model putting their hands above their heads, and using their fingers to make bunny ears.
Although, it doesn’t look like bunny ears for the masculine body, as the hands are either sides of their head and not on the head. It’s no way near as cute as the feminine body doing it, but it’s still a cute pose addition to the game.
Our next Dress To Impress The Petal Update Pose Pack sneak peek is of the model doing the splits on the floor, and resting their head on their hands.
It’s not really giving spring, and it’s going to be a weird one for flashing when you’re on the runway with the shorter skirts.
The next spring pose we are getting is a new kneeling pose, and it’s the model kneeling on the floor, resting one hand on the floor next to them, and the other hand resting on their chest, and their head tilted slightly.
Our next pose sneak peek is a standing pose, and it’s one I know I’ll use a lot, with the model standing with cross legs, one hand resting on one hip and the arm with a splayed hand effect on their chest.
This is my favorite pose from the sneak peeks we’ve seen, as it’s so cute!
Zac did already give us a sneak peek back in March, of a Tate McRae Revolving Door inspired dance pose, and said it would be added, so we don’t know if this pose will be added to the Dress To Impress The Petal Update Pose Pack, or maybe it could be coming as part of the animated walk, idle and jump packs?
