Today has been a crazy day in the land of Dress To Impress. First, we got an announcement that the DTI team are revamping the Robux Bags, and making them Robux Sets
They’ve also announced a brand new gamepass, both of which are launching April 26th, as part of the spring update. Keep on reading to find out the news and drama surrounding these announcements.

Players always get upset whenever DTI launches something that costs “real” money like Robux, like the Queen Of Hearts Set in the Valentine’s Update, and the new passes during Halloween; 2x money and extra clothing limit.
I get it, I really do. Many people don’t want to spend IRL money on a game, but some people do, and DTI is just trying to cater for everyone.
I think the drama kicked off today, because both announcements were about pay-to-play newness, and it was a bit much for people on the same day.
The drama was so crazy, DTI have since made the following announcement:
We wanted to firstly start off by saying a big thank you to everyone who shared constructive feedback with us yesterday. We are always willing to listen to constructive feedback. Unfortunately, especially online, it can be hard sometimes to know the difference between people being genuinely concerned and people being nasty because there’s always a loud minority of people who are always mad about any decision we make whether it’s one you dislike or not. Sometimes, we naturally do feel we know what is best for the future of our game and hope that you will put your trust in us, but on this occasion, we do feel the feedback we have received is completely valid.
For that reason, we have decided that the Accessory Adjustments will no longer be a gamepass. Instead, it will be a free, unlockable feature that is accessible by all players. We feel this will simultaneously ensure everyone can access these new, exciting features, but still maintain the exclusivity and game-changing properties of the system we have built.

“Do some accessories not fit the way you want them too? Now with the Accessory Adjustment Gamepass, you can change the Position, Rotation, AND SCALE of your desired accessory.
That’s not all though, we know you love to layer hair. So, the Accessory Adjustment Gamepass will also work with hair! Let’s have fun creating so many new outfits.”
The first newness is the Accessory Adjustment Gamepass, which will allow us to change the position, rotation and scale of all the accessories within the game, so we choose how items site on the avatar, which direction they’re facing and even the size.
We can make things bigger, smaller, wider, taller, and change which way the items face, as well as their size.
StudioZac shared a video of him using this brand new feature, and it looks fantastic. The gamepass adds a whole new menu to each item, and it looks so quick and easy to use.
You’re going to be able to use it for the accessories, but also for hair too, which is what I’m most excited about.
It’ll be particularly amazing for when you play Style Showdown too, as we have such limited items, being able to customize this much, will make it a lot easier to make outfits.

The announcement was only a couple of hours ago, and people are already being exceptionally vocal about their unhappiness with this new gamepass, and BeaPlays has already tweeted, to address the controversy;
“Perhaps, and this is not a guarantee, I am just floating ideas around, we could consider a basic movement that is free (changing positioning) and just a more advanced movement gamepass to meet in the middle and appeal to both worlds. Would that solve some of the issues some of you are feeling? This isn’t a guaranteed idea, just something I thought of and would like to hear your feedback on.”
It’s amazing that the team have already addressed the negativity, but it’s such a shame that it feels like whenever DTI announces something new, people jump on the negativity hate train to tear down their ideas.

I genuinely believe it’s mostly because both announcements today came within an hour of each other, and they’re both real life money items, so it was a bit much all-in-one for people.
Although, looking at the announcement of the gamepass on X/Twitter, it looks like 90% of the feedback is positive, but in the Discord, it’s seriously negative.
So, we know this gamepass is no longer going to be a traditional gamepass, and it’ll be available for everyone “free, unlockable feature that is accessible by all players”.
