The Axolotl pet is one of six new pets that launched within the Grow A Garden Mega Harvest update.
We got a brand new summer Oasis egg, with five different pets to hatch, plus the Hamster pet, which we can purchase from the Summer Shop.

What Is The Grow A Garden Axolotl Pet?
You can find the Axolotl pet inside the new Summer Oasis Egg, which is a limited edition egg, that is available within the Summer Shop.
The Summer Shop can be accessed by talking to Georgia, and the stock changes every 30 minutes, with the Oasis Egg being one of the rarest items within the shop.
Each Oasis Egg costs 10 Summer Coins, and you earn the Summer Coins by participating in the Mega Harvest Event, and the egg is only ever in stock 1-2 times per day. You can also use Robux to buy the Oasis Eggs.
The five Oasis Pets are:
- Meerkat – 45% chance
- Sand Snake – 34.5% chance
- Axolotl – 15% chance
- Hyacinth Macaw – 5% chance
- Fennec Fox – 0.5% chance
The Axolotl pet is one of my favorite pets from the Oasis egg (with the Hyacinth Macaw being my other favorite), and it’s got a really cute design.
It is a pale blue color all over, with brighter blue accents and little pink cheeks which look adorable. It also crawls along the floor with its little legs.
What Are The Benefits Of The Grow A Garden Axolotl Pet?
The Axolotl pet is rated as being a Mythical Pet, and its ability will help you immensely with the Mega Harvest Event.
It gives you a 6.51% chance that summer type fruits stay after collecting, so when you’re harvesting the summer fruits in your garden, you have a decent chance that they’ll duplicate, so you can harvest over and over, to get more fruits, and more points for the Mega Harvest Event.
A 6.51% chance (for a 1.71kg size pet) is actually really decent, and the older your Axolotl pet is, or the heavier your Axolotl pet is, the higher the percentage will be, and it’ll be so helpful for getting duplicate fruits, when trying to complete the Summer Mega Harvest Event.
When you harvest your fruit, you’ll get a pop-up message to say lucky harvest X has replanted itself, and you then get to harvest it again (and sometimes again, if it continues to keep replanting), so you can fill your inventory up with extra fruit, and it even works on Sugar Apples too.
