There’s a brand new egg within Grow A Garden, and it’s the Oasis Egg. You can purchase the new Grow A Garden Oasis Eggs from the new Harvest Shop, by talking to Georgia, on the event display in the center of the field.
The new harvest shop has a small selection of products, like seeds, burnt mutation spray, a hamster pet, a lily of the valley seed, delphinium seed, traveler’s seed, an oasis crate, and the new oasis egg. Keep on reading to find out all about the new meerkat, and see my giant meerkat!

What Is The Grow A Garden Meerkat Pet?
The meerkat is one of five pets that can be found inside the new Oasis Egg.
There are two ways in which you get your hands on an oasis egg. You can purchase Oasis Eggs via the Harvest Shop, when talking to Georgia, and you can use your Summer Coins to purchase Oasis Eggs, if you’re lucky enough to find them in stock.
They are super rare, so it is hard to find them in stock, but you can also purchase Premium Oasis Eggs, by clicking the “Store” button on the left side of the screen, where you can purchase one egg for 149 Robux, three eggs for 575 Robux, and ten eggs for 1269 Robux.
Inside the Oasis Egg, you’ll hatch one of these five pets:
- Meerkat – 45% chance
- Sand Snake – 34.5% chance
- Axolotl – 15% chance
- Hyacinth Macaw – 5% chance
- Fennec Fox – 0.5% chance
When you purchase the Oasis Eggs, you will hatch a tonne of meerkats and sand snakes, as they’re both the most common.
I couldn’t believe it when this huge meerkat pet hatched out of one of my Oasis Eggs, look how massive he is?
It hatched as a 5.85kg Meerkat, and it’s absolutely giant, especially as it has a super long tail, which makes it look even bigger!
It’s a brown color all over, with a tan colored face, and it wiggles its long tail constantly, which looks adorable.

What Does The Grow A Garden Meerkat Pet Do?
If you equip one of the meerkat pets as one of your garden pets, every 7:14 minutes, it goes to another of your pets, and does a lookout. That pet then advances its cooldown by 21:08 seconds. Plus, it has a 15.54% chance to do it again, after each lookout.

If you have the Queen Bee, it’s kinda like that, in that it helps shorten the cooldown period, but I think the meerkat is probably better than the Queen Bee, because it has a decent chance (15.54% chance) to do it a second time.
These stats I’ve given you, are for a 2.17kg meerkat. My giant titanic meerkat, has different stats, which I wanted to share with you, just so you can see the difference in the stats with a normal-sized meerkat versus, a titanic sized meerkat.
For my giant meerkat, every 6:58 minutes, it goes to another of your pets, and does a lookout. That pet then advances its cooldown by 22:92 seconds. Plus, it has a 16.46% chance to do it again, after each lookout.
I think it’s an adorable pet, and the benefit is actually pretty decent, especially considering it’s the most common pet inside the Oasis Egg.
