With the Grow A Garden Summer event launching today, Jandel promised us new pets, new seeds, new weather events and more. One of the newest weather events has been announced by Jandel, and it’s the Space Travel weather event, which looks insanely cool. Keep on reading to find out more…
Jandel showed us a preview of the latest weather events that have been added to the game:

- Meteor Strike
- Alien Invasion
- Space Travel
- Under The Sea
The weather events are exciting, because not only are they fun to be apart of, but they’ll each give us an exclusive event-only mutation, that you can only achieve by being in the game when the event happens.
I’ve already shared the brand new Alien Invasion admin-only weather event with you, but the Space Travel weather event is the latest weather event to launch within the game, and it looks so so cool from the video preview Jandel shared with us.

In the preview video, we can see that when the Space Travel weather event is going to happen, there’s a countdown that appears behind the Sell Shop and the Seed Shop with purple neon numbers.
The sky then turns black, with crazy purple neon light graphics which look like rocket thrusters, making the gardens appear almost white in color, while the space travel happens.
It then makes it look like you’ve “landed” in space, with meteors floating in the air, with the milky way in the background, while your avatar can enjoy a zero gravity experience, where you end up floating in the air when you “jump” – kinda like how the Black Hole weather event works, where you end up floating in the air.
It looks so cool and so different to any of the existing weather events within the game. Jandel hasn’t mentioned which mutation we’ll get from the Space Travel weather event happening within the game, but considering the high quality graphics and attention to detail, we’d hope it would be a super high multiple, like the VoidTouched mutation and multiplier we get from the Black Hole event.
I’m so excited to see the new weather events launch within the game, especially Under The Sea, Meteor Strike, Alien Invasion and Meteor Shower.
A lot of the new weather events have a space theme to them, so maybe we’re going to get a whole space-themed update in the future?
