In the recent Blood Moon update, Grow A Garden introduced the new Mythical Eggs, which feature in just 7% of the egg restocks at the Pet Shop within the game.
Inside the Mythical Eggs, there are two different mice to hatch, and I’m going to give you the full low-down on the brown mouse, and the benefits of the brown mouse, so keep on reading to find out more…

How To Get The Brown Mouse In Grow A Garden
The Brown Mouse is an adorable brown mouse with pink ears, black whiskers and a pink tail.
To get the brown mouse within Grow A Garden, you will have to purchase the Mythical Eggs, and inside the Mythical Eggs, you’ll receive one of these pets at random:
- Grey Mouse – 35.71% chance
- Brown Mouse – 26.79% chance
- Squirrel – 26.79% chance
- Red Giant Ant – 8.93% chance
- Red Fox – 1.79%
We have two mice in these eggs, with one being grey, and the other being brown, and the grey mouse is slightly more common than the brown mouse.
Each of the Mythical Eggs cost 3,000,000 (three million sheckles), and all five pets offer decent benefits compared to the likes of the pets in the Legendary Eggs.

Benefits Of Owning The Grow A Garden Brown Mouse Pet
Just like the grey mouse, the brown mouse has a different benefit than most benefits, as the trait benefits you as a player, rather than improving or helping your garden.
When you equip the brown mouse, it grants players an additional 10.22% increase to player jump height.
It’s also a stackable benefit, so the more brown mice you have equipped in your garden at the same time, the 10.22% will stack for each one, which is insanely helpful when trying to reach the crops on the top of grape vines, beanstalks or mango trees.

The grey mouse gives you an increase in walk speed, but I find the brown mouse to be more helpful, as you don’t have to rely on bamboo for scaling the tallest of trees to harvest your crops.
I do also really like how cute the grey mouse and brown mouse look together in the garden.
I know some people would rather the pets stick to enhancing the garden, earnings or productivity, but I like that there are now pets that can enhance the player too.
