If you like frogs, there are two different frog pets within Grow A Garden right now, and they’re both really cute.
Today, I’m going to talk you through the standard frog, rather than the Echo Frog, and let you know how you get it, and why you should want to add one to your Grow A Garden farm right now…

How To Get The Grow A Garden Frog Pet
The Grow A Garden Frog is a bright green boxy shaped frog, with big black eyes and a pale green stomach.
If you want to get your hands on this frog, the only way is through Night Eggs, which you can earn via the Lunar Glow event (at the time of writing this, that event is ending super soon), or you can purchase the Night Eggs in the Blood Moon Shop, or the Twilight Shop.
There are six pets you can potentially get inside the Night Eggs;
- Hedgehog 40%
- Mole 22%
- Frog 14%
- Echo Frog 10%
- Night Owl 4%
- Raccoon 1%
Once the Lunar Glow event leaves, I’m not sure if we’ll be able to get our hands on the Night Eggs anymore, so I would stock up while you can, if you are wanting to get one of the frogs, or any of the other Night Egg pets.

What Are The Benefits Of Owning The Grow A Garden Frog?
The frog doesn’t get a lot of praise within the Grow A Garden community, and I don’t know why.
If you equip the frog as one of your pets, in your garden, you’ll enjoy the benefit that every 20 minutes, the frog will quicken the growth of one random crop in your garden.

It’s obviously not the most amazing of benefits, compared to the likes of the Raccoon or the Dragonfly, but it’s not bad, and it’s a really cute pet, as it energetically hops through your garden, and it loves to climb trees and the taller plants too, so it’s always funny to see it scaling my tallest of trees.
I have to be honest, I do prefer the Echo Frog over the normal frog, but they’re both really cute, and perfect for a garden game.
I also find that you either get really big frogs or the tiniest of frogs, with no in-between.
