Grow A Garden is killing it right now with the new updates. In the last two weeks alone, we’ve had the Zombie Chicken update, Blood Moon update, Farm Cosmetics update and the new Twilight shop update.
Well, now they’ve officially launched their latest update, and it is launching this Saturday, and it looks amazing with new seeds AND NINE new pets. Keep on reading to find out more…
The Grow A Garden Bizzy Bees Update launches Saturday, May 31st and 10am EST.
The devs hinted that this update was going to be bee themed, as one of the Discord mods posted a comment about being “buzzing” about this latest update, and the team have now given us this announcement:
“Buzzing with activity, this update brings a new limited time event with lots of content to explore and enjoy!
Explore and participate in the new Bizzy Bee event, unlock new seeds, pets, features, and so much more in this new Grow A Garden update!🐝🌼🍯“
We knew that there was going to be a bee themed update within Grow A Garden, because Jandel; the creator of Grow A Garden, posted a TikTok video, where he explained that we’re getting a “bee swarm” update, after one of his devs suggested it as an idea.
Well, it is official, we are getting that bee themed update this Saturday, so we don’t have long to wait, which is amazing.
Sadly, when the Bizzy Bee Update launches on Saturday, it is going to replace the owl Lunar Glow Event in the center of the field completely, so if you still need to save up your bloodlit or moonlit fruits, do it now, as you won’t be able to do it from Saturday onwards.
The display will become the cutest bee themed display, and on the display, there will be a Queen Bee that we’ll interact with (instead of the owl), as well as a Beehive, which is where the bees will come out of, and these bees will go into our gardens to pollinate our fruits.
Next to the beehive, there’s the Queen Bee, and the Queen Bee will give you these options, and you’ll click one:
- What are you?
- I want to trade honey
- Where can I get honey?
- Never mind
There is also a “honey compressor” on the display, which is where you’ll hand over your “pollinated fruits” from the bees, and the machine will turn the fruits into honey, pouring it into a jar.
Once your honey has been made via this machine, you’ll earn “honey coins” currency, which is what you’ll use to purchase items within the “honey shop”.

So far, we know there will be Honey Crates, which will cost 10,000 honey, and Bee Eggs, and they’ll cost 10,000 honey too.
So, we’ll be able to collect our honey from our pollinated fruits, to exchange for honey coins, which will exchange for these crates and eggs.
I think the eggs will be where we get the adorable new pets from, and the crates could be where we get flowers from maybe?

Here you can see nine adorable bee pets all lined up, in different colors.
On the far side, you can see a bee with a crown, so you’d assume that’s the Queen Bee, and maybe we’ll get these pets inside the eggs.
I so hope they each have different benefits, as that would make it so fun! I definitely want the pink one, cobalt blue one, and the queen bee.
I can’t get over how cute they are with their little faces and wings, and it’s going to be so fun seeing them flying around our gardens.
