For this week’s Grow A Garden update, we have the Kitchen Storm Update, which is an extension (and hopefully an improvement) of the Cooking Event.

What Is The Grow A Garden Kitchen Storm Update?
For the Cooking Event, we have to head to the Chris P kitchen in the center of the field, and look at his thought bubble to see which food item he is craving (which could be Salad, Sandwich, Pie, Waffle, Hot Dog, Ice Cream, Donut, Pizza, Sushi, Cake or Burger), and the cravings change every hour.
The event hasn’t been well received by the community, and it looks like the event is going to be upgraded in the upcoming update, here’s what Grow A Garden said about the update:

An expansion of the cooking event with higher stakes and more rewards… Explore, participate, and unlock brand new seeds, pets, features, admin weather, & more!”
So, the cooking event is being “expanded” with higher stakes and more rewards, which is sooo needed, as the current rewards are terrible.
I made a massive prismatic pie, using fruits worth billions, and I got reclaimers, advanced sprinklers, a pretzel cart and small toys, which is awful considering how big the bone blossoms were, so fingers crossed the rewards will be fairer in this event expansion.
In this update, it has been confirmed that we’re going to be getting:
- new seeds
- new pets
- new items
- new admin weather
- & more

What Time Does The Grow A Garden Kitchen Storm Update Launch?
The fun Kitchen Storm event is scheduled to launch at 10am EST on Saturday the 9th of August 2025, and this update, like all of the Grow A Garden updates is going to be a week-long update
