This weekend’s Grow A Garden update is a really exciting one, and it’s the Grow A Garden Beanstalk Event Update.
I think we can collectively agree that the two-week cooking event has been very underwhelming and boring, but this week’s update looks so, so much better, with amazing looking seeds, super cool pets and a really fun hourly quest. Keep on reading to find out when the Beanstalk Event is going to drop…

What Is The Grow A Garden Beanstalk Event Update?
The Beanstalk Event is one of two events that Jandel suggested as possible events within the Grow A Garden Discord, with the Cooking Event being the other event. We had the cooking event for the last two weeks, and now it’s time for the Beanstalk Event.
Here’s the official announcement announcing the Beanstalk Event:
“THIS WEEKEND
Beanstalk Event + Garden Guide! 🫛📖🔎
Beanstalk Event, grow & climb a beanstalk to unlock all kinds of new rewards like seeds, pets & other things + New ‘Garden Guide’, an index for plants, pets, & more. Track your collection, complete achievements, and level up your garden!“
We know that this event is going to be active for two weeks, just like all Grow A Garden updates, with the event being expanded next weekend.
For this week’s part of the update, we’ve seen some really exciting leaks.
We are getting five brand new pets, which we can hatch from the Sprout Egg:
- Dairy Cow – 50% chance
- Jackalope – 31% chance
- Sapling – 12% chance
- Golem – 6% chance
- Golden Goose – 1% chance
There’s going to be an event shop called Goliath’s Goods, and in the shop we’ll be able to purchase items like:
- Sprout Seed Packs
- Sprout Egg
- Mandrake
- Sprout Crates (cosmetic items)
- Silver Fertilizer
- Canary Melon Seed
- Spriggan Pet
The items within the event shop will be purchasable with sheckles, and not event currency like past events (so no Chi Points, Summer Coins or Honey Coins like previously).

There’s going to be an option to restock the shop with sheckles, like we had with the Zen Event, which is amazing.
It’s so annoying waiting for event shops to restock once an hour, but we’ll be able to use our sheckles to restock the shop, to get the items we most desperately want. It’s also a good way for the game’s economy to improve, if people are going to spend millions and trillions of sheckles on restocks.
There’s a brand new seed pack, which is called the Sprout Seed Pack, and inside this seed pack, we’re going to have the following seeds:
- Flare Daisy – 40% chance
- Duskpuff – 25% chance
- Mangosteen – 20% chance
- Poseidon Plant – 10% chance
- Gleamroot – 4.5% chance
- Princess Thorn – 0.5% chance
What Time Does The Grow A Garden Beanstalk Event Update Launch?
I’m super excited about this week’s event, it looks so interactive, unlike the cooking event, and the seeds, pets and items all look amazing.
This week’s Beanstalk Event is going to launch at 10am EST on Saturday the 16th of August 2025, and is likely to be a week-long update, with the potential of the event being extended for a second week, with an expansion launching next weekend.
As always, make sure you are at 30 minutes earlier than the below times, so you don’t miss out on the fun admin abuse event, to get the best mutations on your fruits in your garden.
