Grow A Garden launched their Beanstalk Event update today, and with the new update we have the brand new Sprout Seed Pack.
There are two types of Sprout Seed Pack; the free version we can earn by participating in the Beanstalk Event, and a paid version, which you can get via the Grow A Garden shop, for the Exotic Sprout Seed Pack, which gives you the chance to get rainbow seeds.
The rarest seed in the Sprout Seed Pack is the Princess Thorn Seed, and I got it on only my second Sprout Seed Pack, which is crazy lucky, and keep reading to find out all about this insane seed.

The Sprout Seed Pack is a pale yellow and green color, and you can get the seed packs for free, when you help to reach the 900 points to grow the beanstalk within a server with other people (you won’t get this reward if you’re solo in a private server), or as you climb the beanstalk, there are glowing green orb rewards, and sometimes you can get the seed packs as those rewards too.

There are six brand new seeds within the Grow A Garden Sprout Seed Pack, and here they are, with the percentage chances for each of the seeds:
- Flare Daisy – 39% chance
- Duskpuff – 25% chance
- Mangosteen – 20% chance
- Poseidon Plant – 10% chance
- Gleamroot – 4.5% chance
- Princess Thorn – 0.5% chance
I seriously love all six seeds within this update. I have to be honest, the seeds in the Cooking Event were so underwhelming and boring, and even though I did manage to get the Grand Tomato, it just didn’t wow. These seeds are so, so much better.
The Grow A Garden Princess Thorn Seed is the rarest at just 0.5% chance, and the seed is a lime green color, with leaves at the bottom of the seed, and yellow thorns all over the seed – it looks so cool.

When you plant the Princess Thorn Seed, the seed grows a large chunky square platform, with stalky stems surrounding the base.
The stalky stems remind me of the Soft Sunshine Seed in the Zen update – they look almost identical.
Once the base is 100% fully grown, the Princess Thorn grows on top of that platform, and the size of the Princess Thorn changes every time it grows – the base doesn’t affect how big/small the Princess Thorn will grow to be.

Once the Princess Thorn Seed has fully grown, it’s a super, super tall spiked stem which grows at an angle.
All over the stem, there are yellow spikes, and it’s really easy to climb to the top.
It is impossible to photograph this plant in all its glory, as it’s so crazy tall, and the plant I grew for this photo was actually quite skinny – it can grow a lot thicker, and a lot taller too.

This Princess Thorn weighed 24.2kg, and it sold for 453,377 sheckles without any mutations.
Imagine how epic this plant is going to look once it has mutations like aurora, disco, celestial or alienlike?!
I can’t believe I managed to get this seed so quickly, but honestly, all of the Grow A Garden Sprout Seed Pack plants are amazing in this update, so make sure you farm as many seed packs as you can, so you can get your hands on them.
