The hot new Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update is launching in less than a week, and it’s the first ever cultural-themed update we’ve had within the game.
This newest update is launching to celebrate the World Culture Day, which falls on May, 21st. Keep on reading to find out more…

The Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update is launching in one week, on Saturday, the 17th of May at 11am EST, and this is not a one-day update, like the name suggests.
The update launches on Saturday, but as World Culture Day isn’t until the 21st of May, the update is going to run from the Saturday to the Friday.
For this update, it’s not just a conventional update, as it’s been designed with education in mind.
StudioZac tweeted to let us know that not only is everything free in this update (no currency needed whatsoever), but the items within the update will all come with educational cards, to teach us about the background and importance of each item, and it looks like it’s Umoyae that’s going to be writing those cards.

When the Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update launches on Saturday, the 17th of May, we are going to be getting lots of new content.
It has been officially confirmed that several cultural and traditional items are releasing (which sounds like clothing items/pieces), some new hairs, some new patterns, some new accessories and “more”.
The only update we had that was slightly similar to this update, was the Lunar New Year update, which included three limited time code items, two of which gave us different traditional Chinese clothing items, and another for snake-inspired hair clips and bracelets.
That was a tiny update in comparison, as we didn’t get any new hair, makeup, patterns or anything like that, and we didn’t get any educational items either, so the Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update really does sound exciting, and unlike anything we’ve ever had before.

So far, we have had four entire sets confirmed within the update, and there’s even more to come.
I can’t believe we are getting an entire set for each of the cultures included within this update – that is so much new stuff!
Confirmed so far, we are getting a Brazilian Set, Filipino Set, Indian Set and Thai Set.
