The Dress To Impress team surprised us with the news of a brand new update coming this weekend, to celebrate cultural diversity.
Dress To Impress is one of the most successful and popular games on Roblox, with a minimum of 70,000 active players at any one time, with players from all over the world.
They have created the Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update to celebrate the cultural diversity, while also educating players on other cultures and traditions within the game.

This new Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update is going live on Saturday the 17th of May at 11am EST (check your time zone here), and this update is going to run from the 17th of May through to the 23rd of May (the following Friday), so we have almost a week to enjoy this update.
DTI has described this particular update as being special to the team, as members of the DTI team has taken time to research different cultures around the world, so they can bring these cultures (and their traditions) to the game during the update.
Umoyae (DTI manager and lore writer) confirmed on Twitter, that she will be writing some educational “tidbits” throughout, with Zac confirming that there will be educational guides that come with the items, so we can learn about their importance and origins.
Although we don’t have any sneak peek images (yet), we have had confirmation that the Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update is going to include;
- Several cultural and traditional items releasing
- New hairs
- New patterns
- New accessories
- & more!

Dress To Impress has confirmed FOUR whole new sets, each set honors a different culture, and we are getting the entire sets and every item within each set, which is insane.
We are getting a Brazilian Set, a Thai Set, an Indian Set and a Filipino Set, and they’re absolutely stunning.

Do We Need Currency For The Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update?
StudioZac announced that we do not need any in-game currency for the Dress To Impress World Culture Day Update.
Every new thing we are going to get in this update is going to be free.
We don’t know if there are going to be code items, but I really do believe we will be getting codes, because I don’t think they’ll add the new cultural items to the main map, as they didn’t add the Valentine’s items to the new map, and the Lunar New Year items were given to us through three codes, so I think we’ll get multiple code items in this update.
Maybe we will get a new chest specifically for cultural diverse items and accessories, but I think they’ll be codes, and maybe we’ll even have an emoji hunt again (like the Easter update and the April Fool’s Update), to unlock the codes for different cultures.
Either way, we do not need any currency for this update, as everything is going to be free, which is amazing news, and we have less than a week to wait to see what’s included in the update.
