This weekend is going to be super exciting, as it’s the Grow A Garden summer update, which the Grow A Garden team has described as being their biggest ever update.
We know the update is called the Grow A Garden Summer Update, but DJ Jhai (one of the lead Grow A Garden developers) has made an announcement about the Grow A Garden Summer Harvest event, which is going to run alongside the summer update.
What Is The Grow A Garden Summer Harvest Event?
DJ Jhai posted the above announcement inside the official Grow A Garden Discord channel:
“Summer Season + Summer Harvest Event 😎🌴🌞,
Explore the all new Summer Season and join forces with other gardeners to participate in the Summer Harvest event. This update brings brand new seeds, pets, craftable items, all new weather, features, and much more to discover/unlock!“
This announcement is exciting, because it’s the first mention of the Grow A Garden Summer Harvest Event – but what does that mean?
Thanks to this screenshot by Jandel, on his TikTok account, as a quick leak, which nobody seems to have spotted… yet.
In this screenshot, you can see an announcement message on the screen:
“No one submitted to the Harvest… no rewards”
This is SO exciting, because it means that the Grow A Garden Harvest Event is something every player in the server will have to contribute to, in order for players to get the rewards.
This gives more of a community feel to the game, and I imagine there will be a set list of items the whole server needs to hand in, and if the whole server does manage to do this, the whole server will get rewards.
We know that the Grow A Garden update is going to give us new seeds and new pets, so maybe we’ll get new seeds and new pets, by working with other players to hand in fruits for the Harvest event.
If you don’t play in public servers, I don’t know if that means you’ll miss out. The harvest requirements could be crazy difficult, like 100 pollinated fruits within an hour, but I really hope players that play in private servers won’t miss out with this event.
Due to the mass stealing issue in public servers, many players stick to private servers, so I do wonder what’s going to happen for those players, and the harvest event launches this Saturday, the 21st of June. Find out the launch time for your time zone right here.
