How To Use The Grow A Garden Levelup Lollipop [Is It Worth It?]

The Grow A Garden Pet Mutations update has officially launched, and we can now mutate our pets, once they reach the age of 50.

With 12 different mutations you can get, it’s an exciting feature which allows you to upgrade your pet, both in its design, but also with its abilities too.

The Levelup Lollipop is a gear item we can purchase from the Gear Shop, to increase the age of our pets, but how does it work, and what does it actually do?

The Grow A Garden Levelup Lollipop is a “Divine” rated gear item, and can be found right at the bottom of the list of items within the Gear Shop.

It costs 79 Robux for one single Levelup Lollipop, and because it’s Prismatic (like the Burning Bud Seed, Ember Lily Seed, Beanstalk Seed and Giant Pinecone Seed), it’s going to be very rarely in stock for purchase with sheckles.

It is reportedly going to cost 10,000,000,000 (yes, that’s right.. 10 billion per lollipop), which is absolutely insane, and the most expensive item we’ve ever had in the game.

Until now, the Moon Mango was the most expensive, at 1 billion per seed, but this hits a whole new limit for crazy pricing.

I decided to buy some of the lollipops with Robux, because I have a dragonfly pet that is age 46, and so close to the age 50 requirement, to use the Pet Mutations machine.

There is absolutely no instruction anywhere within the game, on how to use it. When you buy it, it goes to your gear section, rather than the fruit section, and it’s not actually a food item you feed to your pet.

I ended up wasting one entire lollipop by clicking near by dragonfly to work out how to use it, and it ended up leveling up my Mimic Octopus by one year, when I wanted to use all 4 lollipops on my dragonfly, so I had to buy another, and spend another 79 Robux.

How To Use The Grow A Garden Levelup Lollipop

The Levelup Lollipop is a large, white and red lollipop gear item, which you can hold.

Each lollipop will age up ONE pet by ONE year.

You do not feed the lollipop to your pet. Instead, you have to be stood right next to the pet you want to age up, and click the pet while holding the Levelup Lollipop.

Be super, super careful when clicking, because it very easily can apply to a surrounding pet, like what happened for me. Going forward, I’m going to pick up all of my pets before using these lollipops, as the octopus wasn’t even super close by, and it still ended up leveling up the wrong pet.

You do not want to waste 79 Robux, and you certainly do not want to lose 10 billion sheckles.

I think it’s stupid that they’ve not given any instruction whatsoever. Are people supposed to instinctively know how to use it, when we’ve never had anything like this before? It’s crazy.

As soon as you (carefully) click the pet you want to age up, you get a notification on your screen, which reads “Applying a level boost to your dragonfly” – so you know if you’ve done it correctly.

That’s literally it. The age of the pet goes up by 1 year for each lollipop you use, and it will help you to get your pet to the next level, if you want to use the Mutations Machine – which I’ll be doing a post on, as I’ve used it for a number of my over 50+ age pets.
