It is officially Halloween today, and to celebrate, Grow A Garden has created a special 24-hour only Halloween Merchant.
We saw Grow A Garden do something similar for the 4th of July, with an American-inspired shop for just 24 hours, with limited edition items, and the devs have created something similar to celebrate Halloween. Keep reading to find out what’s inside this shop…
There isn’t anything else new within the game apart from this shop, but it’s still super fun to have a surprise addition to the game, and the stuff inside the shop is really cool.
The Halloween Merchant has set up in the corner, next to the Seed Shop, just like the Traveling Merchants, so for the next 24 hours, there won’t be any Traveling Merchants spawning in, as the Halloween Merchant is taking up the space until tomorrow.
To access the shop, you just walk up to the NPC and they’ll open up the shop menu for you.
Everything inside the shop can be purchased with Sheckles or Robux, and the stock does not restock, so once you’ve purchased the items, that’s it, unless you want to spend Robux.
There’s also a countdown timer at the top of the shop menu, so you know how long it is until the shop disappears. Make sure you buy everything you can asap, so you don’t miss out.
Let’s take a look at what’s inside this special Grow A Garden Halloween Shop…
Spider Vine Seed
First, we have a seed, and it’s the Spider Vine Seed, which is a Legendary rarity. You get 6 seeds in stock, and each costs 3.1 million sheckles, or 299 Robux.
Monster Flower Seed
Next, we have another seed, and it’s the Monster Flower Seed, which has a Mythical rarity. For this seed, there are just 3 seeds in stock, and they will cost 10.3 million sheckles or 399 Robux each.
Frightwork Gear Item
For the 4th of July, we got a Firework gear item, and they’ve created something similar for the Halloween shop, but this time it’s a Frightwork.
It has a Legendary rarity, with 35 in stock, just like the July 4th firework, and it will cost you 313.3k sheckles or 39 Robux each.
Vampire Fang Seed
We have another seed next, and it’s the Vampire Fang Seed, which is a Prismatic Seed.
These seeds are 3.1 million sheckles each, or 79 Robux each. Whilst this is a Prismatic seed, it is a single harvest seed, which makes it the first ever single harvest Prismatic seed within the game.
There are 10 seeds in stock, and the description reads “imbue yourself with the power of a vampire for 30 seconds”, so, just like the Great Pumpkin Seed and Severed Spine Seed, this is another seed which actually has an ability.
Specter Pet
We have one single pet within the shop, so make sure you equip your Barn Owls before purchasing the pet, to get a massive size.
The new Specter pet has a Legendary rarity, costs 31.3 million sheckles, or 599 Robux.
This pet “occasionally” mutates a random fruit with the Vamp, Spooky or Ghostly mutations, which is super handy with less than 24 hours before the Halloween update is finished – not.
This would’ve been so helpful for the full three weeks of the update, so it’s a shame we’re only just getting this pet, but at least we can grind with it today.
Lich Statue
There is one cosmetic item within the shop, and the Lich Statue is a golden statue in the shape of the Lich Pet, with a Legendary rarity.
With only one in stock, it costs 31.3 million sheckles or 189 Robux. It doesn’t do anything, but is a golden statue which follows the theme of the 0.5% statues from the crates for each update.
Skull Fence
There are two amazing new fences we can purchase from the Halloween Shop. The first being the Skull Fence, which, when purchased, you can equip from the Fence Skins menu when clicking your name board outside your garden.
The Skull Fence is 300 million sheckles, and cannot be purchased with Robux. It has a Legendary rarity, and is a off-white color, with skulls all the way round.
Cemetery Fence
The second fence, and last item in the Halloween Shop is this amazing Cemetery Fence.
It has a Mythical rarity, and also costs 300 million sheckles. This is my favorite fence they’ve ever created, with an amazing stone and metal design, which supposedly was carved from “ancient gravestones” and holds “lost spirits”. The fence looks so cool – I love it.
