I don’t think the Grow A Garden team ever sleep, with insane updates every single week, however, this weekend, we are getting not one, but two updates.
On Saturday, July 5th, we’re getting the Prehistoric Dino Update (find out more here), but we are also getting a surprise update to celebrate July 4th, and we’re getting some seriously cool items, and they’re all available in-game right now, for a super limited time. Nobody was expecting Grow A Garden to launch a July the 4th themed update, but it’s such a cool idea, and it has launched as a special traveling merchant stand next to the Seed Shop – you won’t miss it, as there’s a big eagle sat on the top of the stand.
The stand is run by a man with a cape, called “Uncle Sam”, and when you interact with him, it opens up the July 4th Shop, which is only available for 24 hours.
The stock available is only available for 24 hours, and will not restock, so once you’ve bought all of the items in the shop, that’s the end of the stock, so it is super limited, and the only way you can get more of the items, is by spending Robux.
Let’s take a look at the items in the shop…
Bald Eagle Pet
The coolest item we’re getting is a Bald Eagle pet, with a cute red, white and blue top hat – how cool is his design?
This is a super rare pet, as it’s only going to be available for 24 hours, so make sure you get one, if you can, once it launches, as it’s bound to be highly sought-after once the event is over, for those that didn’t manage to get one.
There is only one in stock for each player, and it costs 7.4 million sheckles. It’s a fully grown pet too, so you don’t need to worry about hatching it.
If you want more than one Bald Eagle Pet, it will cost you 899 Robux, and it has a super cool ability, in that it quickens the hatch time of ALL of your eggs you have placed in your farm.
July 4th Crate
If you love the cosmetics within Grow A Garden, there’s a July 4th Crate, which is blue with red borders, and white stars on the front.
Each player can purchase up to 7 of the crates, and they each cost 7.4 million sheckles, and they take 1 hour, once placed, until you can open them, and there are six different items you can find inside the crate:
- America Flag Badge – 19% chance
- Bald Eagle Statue – 19% chance
- America Banner – 19% chance
- July 4th Toy – 19% chance
- American Flag – 19% chance
- Uncle Sam Gnome – 5% chance
Firework
This is a firework, and it costs 74,000 sheckles, and each firework gives you 5 uses. It’s literally a novelty firework which you hold, and when you click, it fires a firework into the sky, and shows a Grow A Garden logo in the sky. Each player can purchase up to 30 fireworks, and they’re kinda cool,
Firework Flower Seed
The Firework Flower Seed is 150k sheckles, and you can purchase up to 15 of these seeds.
It is a single-harvest seed, but it grows into the most colorful plant, with a rainbow tall stem, with a firework at the top, with branches off.
This firework flower is 25.08 kg, and it sold for 237,450 sheckles, so it’s not a bad base price, before mutations.
I wish it wasn’t single harvest, but you can favorite it, so you can keep it in your garden, so you can collect mutations from admin events.
Liberty Lily Seed
The Liberty Lily Seed is the second seed within the 4th July Shop, and it costs 650,000 sheckles, and you get 5 seeds to purchase.
We are getting another seed within the Grow A Garden July 4th Update, and this one is the Liberty Lily Seed.
This is a slow-growing seed, but it grows into a blue, red and white colored plant with a flower that you can harvest.
It is a multi-harvest plant, unlike the Firework Flower, so you can keep regrowing the flowers.
This Liberty Lily flower is 4.78kg, and sold for 27,075 sheckles, so it’s not the best, but as it is a multi-harvest plant, you can keep regrowing it.
