If you’ve attended the last two Grow A Garden updates; the Bizzy Bee update and the Bizzier Bee update, you’ll be aware of the “cooked owl” lore.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’ll fully explain, so keep on reading, but Jandel has confirmed that we’re going to be getting a cooked owl pet, which is both epic and hilarious…
For the Bizzy Bee update, it saw the end of the Twilight Shop and Blood Moon Shop, both of which had an owl mascot.
Just before the Bizzy Bee update launched, Jandel used the broadcast function to tell us to use the twilight shop one final item, and of course, everyone ran over to the shop to buy things for one final time.
Well, we tried. For the very last twilight shop, there was just one single item in stock, and Jandel joked about how bad the stock was, and how he was going to do an owl bbq to get the owl back for such terrible stock.
Jandel did a TikTok video showing the cooked owl, and said everyone would get it, if they attended the Bizzier Bee update, and sure enough, we did – we all got a cooked owl cosmetic item in our inventories.
It was automatically given to us, and people complained on TikTok that they were upset, because they thought the “cooked owl” was going to be a pet, and not an actual cosmetic item we could place in our farms.
The cooked owl BBQ item is actually really cute, and it’s a red and white BBQ with the owl cooking on the top, and we can place it anywhere in our farms, using the cosmetic items inventory.
Well, thanks to popular demand, Jandel has announced that we are going to be getting a cooked owl in this weekend’s Crafting Update, but if you’re not online when the crafting update goes live, you won’t get it.
It’s a super cute owl, that looks like it’s got grey smoke coming off it, so it genuinely looks like a cooked owl.
