It’s crazy to believe that Garden Horizons only launched 11 days ago, and we had the first official update last weekend, with the introduction of the Botanist.
Garden Horizons has announced this weekend’s update, and it’s a different time to the launch of the game, and a different day and time to their Botanist update, as the devs are testing to see which day and time works best for their game and their players worldwide.

The Garden Horizons Console Update is launching this coming Saturday, following endless requests within the Discord, for the game to launch console compatibility. Ever since the game launched, you couldn’t play it on any type of consoles, which cut off a massive demographic of players.
The team communicated many times that console support was coming, and it is official, the game will work on consoles from Saturday, which makes the game accessible for many, many more players.

Here is the official announcement for this update:
“Garden Horizons is coming to console. Grab your controller and get farming! New features and more packed in too.“
As well as launching the ability for players to play Garden Horizons on console, they’re going to be doing an admin abuse event.
During their first ever admin abuse event, we got SIX cherry seeds and a crazy number of Super Sprinklers, as well as the cinematic admin abuse battle between Tim and Seizure Salad.
They also gave us three new admin mutations: meteoric, salad and banned, which all carry super high multipliers. So, it’s exciting that we’re going to be getting another admin abuse event this Saturday, hopefully with more OP seed and gear restocks.

Something to remember, the devs have confirmed there will not be new updates every week like we get in Grow A Garden, Escape Tsunami For Brainrots or Plants Vs Brainrots, but we will get “new content” weekly.
We do know that we’re probably going to get the new Reclaimer gear this Saturday, which will allow you to pick up a planted fully grown plant, and convert it back into a seed, so you can get the plant out of your garden, without losing the plant entirely.
This is SO helpful for events, as we only have a 300 seed limit in our gardens, so we’ll be able to reclaim plants we don’t need for the current event, like Olives or Dawn Blossoms, and we can replant them in the future.
Something else to consider, is within the game right now, there’s a countdown timer on the two Premium Seed Packs within the Store; the Premium Gardener’s Seed Pack and the Premium Dawn Seed Pack.
It currently shows us that these two seed packs are leaving on Saturday, BUT that could just mean the purchasable pay to win packs are leaving, and we’ll still be able to earn free versions by completing the daily/weekly quests.
Or, we could be getting brand new seed packs – hopefully it is new seed packs, as I’m kinda bored of the ones we have right now, and I’ve done the Botanist quest so many times, I already have a ton of every seed.
