The Grow A Garden Mangrove Seed is a super rare seed within the game, as only a small portion of players were able to get it.
Grow A Garden introduced the new Ascension ability within the game a month ago, and the requirements were super difficult to start with, and we had to lose all of our sheckles in order to “ascend” once, and in return, we received 10 Garden Coins, which we could spend in the Garden Ascension Shop.

For a good two weeks, you had to lose all of your sheckles to ascend, and hand over a fruit item with multiple mutations, and more often than not, it was super difficult to get those exact mutations.
Players let the Grow A Garden team know they weren’t happy with how hard the ascension mechanic was, and losing all of their sheckles, when you had to then pay 10 trillion sheckles in order to ascend again 24 hours later.
The Grow A Garden team pushed an update to the ascension mechanic last Tuesday, and made it a heck of a lot easier, and when they did, Jandel announced that players that had ascended before the update, would receive a “cool reward” when the Fall Market update launched.

Well, when the update dropped, players that had ascended before the ascension mechanic was made easier, got a blue pop-up message that read: “Hey! Because you ascended before it was made easier, here are some rewards!”
The message then wrote in green which rewards you received. Mine said “4x Mangrove Seeds and Eternal Fence Skin” – so you received one Mangrove Seed for every ascension you did before it was made easier, and you got a brand new glowing fence skin.
Now, my message told me I would receive 4x Mangrove Seeds, but I only received 3 seeds, and looking in the official Grow A Garden Discord, it looks like nobody got the amount of seeds they should, which is disappointing.

If you didn’t ascend before the Ascension mechanic was made easier, unfortunately, you will not be able to get your hands on a Mangrove Seed, unless we finally get seed trading – although Jandel did say on TikTok, that it wasn’t coming.
Each of the Mangrove seeds have a bright green to brown gradient design, and is just a plain design with no accents.

Once planted, the Mangrove Seed grows a reddy-brown tree with the base of the tree having lots of separate sections that join up towards the middle of the tree trunk – just like a real life Mangrove Tree.
There are green leaves around the base, and then green leaves at the top of the tree too.

Each Mangrove Tree grows four Mangrove fruit, and the fruits have an interesting shape.
They’re long and thin, and your avatar holds it on its side, just like it does with the Fossilight fruits, and the Mangrove fruit is the same color as the seed, with the green to brown gradient.

The fruits weigh between 1.9kg and 2.2kg, without using sprinklers or pets to boost fruit sizes, and this specific fruit weighed 1.94kg, and sold for 138,533, which is a lot more than I expected.
As the fruits and tree don’t look particularly special, I wasn’t expecting a lot from the value of the fruits, but they’re actually pretty decent.
It’s cool that this is going to be a rare seed that not everyone has, but it’s a shame many players missed out on the Mangrove seed entirely, because they weren’t able to provide the crazy mutated fruits to be able to ascend, but I’m glad I own three myself, even if it should’ve been four.
