It is under three hours until the Grow A Garden Crafting Update and Working Bees Update launches, and the dev team have already pushed something new into the game.
Until now, every hour, on the hour, there’s a bee swarm that comes from the beehive on the event display in the center of the field, but they have introduced a brand new Working Bee Swarm weather event, which is just insane, and got me 67 pollinated fruits in ten minutes. Read on to find out more.

Usually, the sky goes a golden orange color, and normal black and yellow bees fly out of the beehive every 30 seconds for 10 minutes straight.
During the 10 minutes, the bees pollinate your crops every 30 seconds, and you can then feed your pollinated crops into the Honey Combpressor, to convert them into honey, so you can use the honey coins within the Honey Shop.
Well, the latest bee swarm event that just happened was completely different and something we’ve never seen before; Working Bee Swarm.

In the top corner, the usual bee icon had a hammer on the bee, and when you click the hammer bee icon, a pop-up appears which reads:
“x10 Craft Speed! Higher POLLINATED fruit chance”
This will affect us once the Crafting Update launches later today, and will give us a boost of x10 crafting speed, when we’re doing the recipes via the crafting station, which will appear later today.

Instead of black and yellow bees flying out of the beehive, during the working bee swarm weather event, neon colored bees flew out of the beehive, and they’re all wearing bright orange hard hats, and they fly so much quicker than the normal bees.

With the working bee swarm activated, the pollination was crazy, and I was getting three pollinated fruits at the same time.
Which I managed to get a photo of, you can see the bright blue fruits highlighted, so show the three fruits the working bees pollinated, when the normal bees would pollinate just one single fruit per 30 seconds.
Thanks to the working bee swarm event, it gave me 67 pollinated fruits in ten minutes. That is beyond crazy.
I know it was specifically 67 as I had literally just used the pollen radar 3 minutes before the weather event happened, so all 67 fruits were during the working bee swarm.
Also, there was like a sea effect on the outside of the map. Usually, around the outside of the field is just plain sky, but with the working bee swarm, there was a sea effect, with rippled water, which looked so pretty.

It’ll be interesting to see how often we can get the working bee swarm event, and if it’ll be in 33% of servers, like the blood moon event used to be.
It’s a fab way to make more pollinated fruits, and a lot quicker, so you can exchange them for more jars of honey, which we will be using for the Grow A Garden recipes for crafting.
