If you like deer, we have two different deer pets within Grow A Garden, with the normal Deer, and then the Spotted Deer, and both deer come in different eggs. If you’d like to find out all about the spotted deer, how it differs to the ordinary deer, and its benefits, keep on reading…

What Is The Grow A Garden Spotted Deer Pet?
If you’d like to hatch your own spotted deer, you’ll find them inside the Rare Eggs, which are 600,000 (six hundred thousand sheckles), and come in a bright blue egg.
The four pets you could possibly find inside th rare eggs, are:
- Orange Tabby (cat) 33.33%
- Spotted Deer (brown with white spots) 25%
- Pig (pink) 16.67%
- Rooster (yellow) 16.67%
- Monkey (brown) 8.33%
The design of the spotted deer is literally identical to the ordinary deer (from the uncommon eggs), with a brown colored body, white tummy, beige antlers, black eyes and nose, brown hooves and white spots on his head and back.
It’s really cute, and I find they tend to be massive whenever you hatch one. I’m yet to see a small one, so if you like having the larger Grow A Garden pets, the spotted deer could be a good option.

Benefits Of Owning The Grow A Garden Spotted Deer Pet
I think the two deer are some of the most underwhelming pets within the entire game, and I’m really sorry if you love the deer.
With the spotted deer, at least, there’s a 5.10% chance a berry fruit stays after harvest.
So, that means the strawberries and blueberries from the seed shop, and raspberries from the Normal Seed Packs that you earn from Eloise at the Gear Shop, by doing the daily tasks.

Strawberries, blueberries and raspberries all sell for such a small amount of sheckles, and they’re tiny, plus the bushes/plants take up so much room. 5.10% is a low percentage, on a fruit with a poor resale value, so I’d never use either of the two deers unfortunately, and they’re in my bottom 5 pets within the game.
You would be better off with a pet that can duplicate crops regardless if it’s a berry or not, like the silver monkey for example.
