The Grow A Garden devs have announced their latest admin abuse collaboration. Previously, we’ve seen Jandel collaborate with Travis Kelce for an epic admin abuse event, back in July. Plus, Jandel collaborated with Flamingo, back in August.
It’s been a while since we saw a collaboration, but for this coming Saturday’s admin abuse, Jandel is going to be hosting the admin abuse event with Dave from the band Glass Animals.

The first announcement we got, was in the official Discord for Grow A Garden, where they mentioned that this Saturday’s admin abuse was going to include a “special music guest” to celebrate Halloween.
On Saturday, Grow A Garden is dropping their Ghoul Garden 3 update, which is yet another week of the Halloween update, which has been described as:
“Explore the second expansion of the Ghoul Garden Halloween update introducing a new event, QOL, new seeds, pets, weather, & lots more!“
Now, Grow A Garden has announced that the “special music guest” is Dave from Glass Animals for an “awesome Halloween chat with me”.

Here is the official announcement for the Grow A Garden Jandel x Glass Animals Admin Abuse announcement:
“We have a special guest coming to Grow a Garden this weekend…
We are happy to announce that none other than Dave from Glass Animals will be joining us this Saturday, October 25th, 2025 for an awesome Halloween chat with me! 🎃🦇
Expect fun times, spooky weather events, and a special performance of their new song, Vampire Bat at the end for everyone who came out to enjoy! 🦇🥝
Follow the event so you don’t miss out on all the fun!“
They haven’t mentioned very much on what we can expect from the admin abuse event, apart from “fun times”, “spooky weather events” and a performance of the Vampire Bat song.
Whilst they haven’t elaborated on what we can expect from the admin abuse event, if we look back to the Travis Kelce event, and the Flamingo event, we can potentially guess what we could get with this new Grow A Garden x Glass Animals event.

With both the Travis Kelce event, and the Flamingo event, we got:
- Brand new special never-seen-before weather events themed around each of the guests, giving us brand new mutations (for example blitzshock, touchdown, jackpot, oil, boil, junkshock)
- A special limited time only pet (we got a Football pet for attending the Travis Kelce event, and the Junkbot pet for attending the Flamingo event)
- We got a special limited time only seed for attending the Travis Kelce event (Fruitball Seed)
- Crazy restocks of gear and seeds
I would guess that we could maybe get a special pet from attending this admin abuse, as we did with the last two admin abuse collaborations.
Seeing as this admin abuse event with Dave from Glass Animals, includes a “special performance” of their Vampire Bat song, and Jandel specifically mentioned this collaboration is to celebrate Halloween, I’m gonna take a guess that we’ll maybe get a Vampire pet.
We already have lots of Halloween-themed pets within the game, but are yet to get a Vampire pet, so maybe that could potentially be a free pet we receive, for attending? I hope it doesn’t give the Bloodlit mutation, as we already have the Kappas for that.

I know I’m not alone in thinking this collab is hecking random – I honestly didn’t think it could get more random than Travis Kelce, but here we are.
Glass Animals are a British indie rock band, and some of their songs have been used in some massive game titles, which I think could be why this collab is happening.
Their Heat Waves song was used in FIFA 21, Rock Band 4 and The Sims 4, plus their song I Don’t Wanna Talk (I Wanna Dance) was used in FIFA 22. So, gamers will know those two songs in particular, if you’ve ever played those game titles.
Glass Animals’ song Vampire Bat dropped in August, and is their newest release, but it’s not a Halloween song (apart from having the name Vampire Bat as the name), which is why it feels particularly random.
Plus, the lyrics are not age 5 appropriate, considering that’s the age Grow A Garden markets the game as being suitable for; “Maturity: Minimal • Ages 5+”.
My personal highlights of questionable lyrics for kids include “giving titty twisters like you’re stuck in 1999“, “Spank the monkey, more bananas than Diddy Kong” and “Ayy, man, what was that? Give me back my ciggie tax. Ninety percent of a mother******* ten-pack“.
It genuinely feels like they’re shoehorning this collaboration in, because the song is called Vampire Bat, and it’s a week before Halloween. It has nothing to do with Halloween, gaming, gardening or anything seasonal.
What on earth is Grow A Garden doing right now?
