We have some brand new weather events within Grow A Garden, thanks to the new Mega Harvest Update. It’s always so much fun to get to experience the new weather events, as they give us a chance to get new mutations for our gardens.
The Aurora Borealis weather event is the newest, super-rare weather event, and it’s absolutely stunning.

I assumed the Aurora Borealis weather event would happen during one of the night events, which *can* happen at random, at 30 minutes past the hour, each hour, but for me, it happened at 25 minutes past the hour, during the daytime, so it’s not something we have to wait for night to come for.

When the Grow A Garden Aurora Borealis weather event happens, the sky becomes a blue and lilac color, with the Aurora Borealis multicolored lights moving all over the sky.
There’s calming music that plays, and it is seriously stunning to see the pink, purple, green and blue lights moving all over the place, with stars all over the sky.
The moon looks so pretty too, and it’s definitely the prettiest weather event we have in the game, and it lasted for two minutes.

When the Aurora Borealis weather event happens, the icon in the top corner, when pressed, says the following message:
“+50% grow speed! Higher AURORA fruit chance”
With the Aurora Borealis weather event, it can give your fruit a brand new mutation called Aurora, which shows as purple colored font on your mutated fruit.
You’ll notice your Aurora mutated fruit super easily, because it transforms your fruit into amazing flashing light fruits, almost like a pastel version of the Disco mutation.
The fruit goes from white, to blue, to lilac, and it glows insanely bright, almost like shocked fruit does, and it looks so pretty on every fruit, from tomatoes to huge mushrooms.

With the Aurora mutation, it gives your fruit an amazing x90 multiplier, which is huge!
My garden is crazy right now, as I have it set-up for maximum points for the harvest event, and I got like 20 Aurora tomatoes, but I did get two Aurora mushrooms too, so I can’t complain!
It’s a beautiful weather event, and make sure you keep an eye out for it, as the x90 multiplier is very much worth having!
