One of the newest weather events within Grow A Garden, is the Sun God Event, which is an admin-event that can give you an amazing mutation, but it’s a very rare mutation, because it only works on single type of crop. Keep on reading to find out more…
Sometimes you can be playing Grow A Garden, and the screen will suddenly shake, and the sky will go a bright orange and yellow color.
When you come out of your garden, you’ll see an insane massive golden monkey standing behind the Gear Shop, Cosmetics Shop and Pet Shop, wearing a gold crown with bright yellow lasers coming from its eyes.
The monkey represents Jandel; the founder of Grow A Garden, and the monkey is Jandel’s avatar, but for this event, his monkey avatar has been given a glow-up.
When this event first launched, Jandel used the broadcast function to tell players it was a special admin weather event, because it had an Easter egg attached, where we had to work out what it meant.
Also, when the event first launched, Jandel told players that whoever worked out the secret Easter Egg, with proof, he’d gift them 10,000 Robux.
During the Sun God event, four players from the server need to be standing at the edge of the map, behind the Gear Shop, and at least four players need to be holding a picked sunflower head.
All four players need to have their sunflowers touching each other, so make sure the petals are touching each other.
When four or five players do this, with their sunflowers, the sunflowers will gain the brand new Dawnbound mutation just on the picked sunflower heads, and the sunflower heads will convert into a glowing neon yellow color with little sparkles.
It might sound like a lot of hassle, trying to co-ordinate four players with four picked sunflower heads, but it’s worth it, because it’ll give you a x150 mutation multiple on your sunflower.
It won’t give the mutation to any other crops in your farms, it’s just the sunflowers, but whatever mutations you already have on the sunflower, will still count, and the x150 multiple will be added to the existing multiples and mutations on the sunflower head.
If you play in a server with friends, I’d recommend keeping a sunflower in your inventory, and favorite it, so you never sell it, and you can all whip it out as soon as the Sun God appears at the end of the field.
It’s a super rare mutation to get, as the sunflower is an insanely rare plant to own, as it has such a rare percentage chance of just 0.5%.
So, if you don’t have a sunflower plant in your garden, you won’t be able to do it, unless you have a kind friend that can donate a sunflower to you, so you can do it with them – and it’ll be worth it, because they’ll be able to get a x150 multiple on their own sunflower.
Always keep an eye out for the Sun God event, but you won’t be able to miss it, as the screen will shake, and go a bright yellow and orange color, and the monkey stands there for a good 3 minutes, so you have enough time to synchronize your sunflower heads with your friends.
