If you’re a Grow a Garden fan, the last six weeks have been pretty miserable. The last decent event we had was the three-week Christmas update, but the New Year’s update, Feed A Pet update, Bird update and two-week Buttercup updates have been dire.
The Grow A Garden team posted an announcement in the official Discord today, to say there is no update coming this weekend, which is the first time that has ever happened, since the game launched on the 25th of March 2025.
There has been a lot of talk about Frazer being the new owner of Grow A Garden, after Adrian (the original and first owner of Grow A Garden) posted in the Discord that he had “sold” Grow A Garden to Frazer for 500,000 Robux.
Many players took that as gospel, and still believe Adrian genuinely sold Grow A Garden to Frazer for 500k Robux.
Frazer has since posted in the Discord to confirm (multiple times) he did not buy Grow A Garden, and Adrian was trolling.
The game still belongs to Adrian (ADevNamedDavid), and Frazer has confirmed that he is working as a dev on the game, but he doesn’t have a say in how the game works, or a say in game-related decisions.
Frazer has also confirmed that Jandel chose to “step back” from Grow A Garden. There have been a lot of rumors, since the New Year Update, that Jandel had left Grow A Garden, and it does look like that might actually be true, but we can’t possibly know for sure.
What we do know, is that there will be NO new update whatsoever in Grow A Garden this week.

The new Season Pass was due a month ago, but it was postponed for a whole 30 days. The Season Pass 4 was supposed to be launching this weekend, and it looks like that isn’t happening either, which I’m personally gutted about.
It’s so sad seeing Grow A Garden decline the way it has, and I really hope that next week’s update will be amazing, to make up for us not having any update this weekend.
They haven’t confirmed if there’s going to be an admin abuse session this weekend, but I’d assume not, seeing as there’s no update. I’ll update this post if anything else gets announced between now and then.
