Plants Vs Brainrots was first created back on the 1st of August 2025, and it massively took off very quickly.
The active player numbers have massively dropped since their Halloween update, and it is still a game I personally love, and play every day, but DJ Jhai made a very exciting announcement, that Plants Vs Brainrots 2 is happening…
During the admin abuse on Saturday, before they dropped their newest Contracts update, DJ Jhai made the announcement via the Global Chat feature, where we said: “Also I have some news” and “we have been working on PVB 2”.
DJ Jhai didn’t give any other information on what Plants Vs Brainrots 2 will be, when it’ll launch and how it’ll affect the current Plants Vs Brainrots, but it’s exciting to think we have a brand new game coming our way.
I think Plants Vs Brainrots went downhill when they introduced the max money earned by second, by your brainrots as 1 million currency per second.
Before, it wasn’t capped, so it was worth grinding for, and attending admin abuse for, because you get end up with brainrots with over 1 million currency per second.
Nearly every single one of my brainrots on the platforms are all capped at 1 million currency per second, so there’s no need to grind any more, as they’re very almost at the max earnings per brainrot.
My total base of brainrots collectively make me $151,649,908 currency every second, when before they capped the earnings per brainrot, that would have been excessively more, as titanic brainrots just don’t matter anymore, which is what made the game fun.
I still love playing Plants Vs Brainrots, and I really enjoy the reward track updates, especially with Grow A Garden having no updates to do, as there’s always something to do within the game.
However, since I’ve played the game since September, by plants are all beasts, with each of my rows dealing a minimum of 50 million damage per second, as I’ve planted 10,191 plants since I started playing, according to my stats, and I’ve defeated 1,443,176 brainrots.
As my lanes all deal at least 50 million damage per second, I don’t log in and get seeds very often as my lanes are super powerful as they are, and I rarely add a new plant to a lane, as my current set-up is so overpowered, especially since they allowed us to level up our plants to level 15 now too.
We don’t know when Plants Vs Brainrots will launch, and if we’ll be able to transfer anything we have from the original game into the new game, but they have changed the name of the developer for the game within Roblox.
Until a week ago, the game was run by “Yo Gurt Studios”, and the developer has now been renamed to “Splitting Point – PVB“, which you see on the loading screen, whenever you load into the usual Plants Vs Brainrots now too.
Splitting Point is a Roblox studio with “over 50 games” under their belts, with a collective of Roblox developers.
