Have you played Plants Vs Brainrots, and noticed the map magically turned yellow? That would be the Plants Vs Brainrots Gilded Awakening weather event, and the event spawns in randomly, and offers the chance of special rarities of brainrots, and also mutations for your plants. Keep on reading to find out more…

If you do notice that the ground has turned yellow, or there are some new decorations around the tunnel your Brainrots spawn from, always look in the bottom corner of your screen for a little weather icon with a countdown over the top.
For the Gilded Awakening Event, you’ll notice the ground is yellow/gold outside your garden, and the track the Brainrots walk along becomes yellow and brown, plus a little glitter icon in the bottom corner of the screen.
There will be a timer countdown over the top of icon, to let you know how long until the admin weather event ends.

What Is The Gilded Awakening Weather Event In Plants Vs Brainrots?
When you click the little glitter icon at the bottom of the screen, it will give you a pop-up message that reads:
“Gilded Awakening: The world glimmers with golden lights, transforming brainrots into golden variants. Extremely increased chances of Golden mutated brainrots.“

Whenever the Plants vs Brainrots Gilded Awakening event spawns in, it will only last for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, so you don’t have long once it spawns.
During the Gilded Awakening weather event, there’s an “extremely” increased chance of the brainrots that emerge from the tunnel having the “Gold” mutation, which will help you tick off the Brainrots in your “Gold” mutation tab within your Index.
There are 49 different Gold Brainrots within your index (click the Index icon on the left side of the screen to see them), therefore, ensure you’re ticking them off by being online for the Gilded Awakening event.

As well as getting Gold Brainrots, you also get a chance of getting Gold plants. If you plant a seed during the Gilded Awakening weather event, there’s a chance that the seed can grow a Gold mutated plant, which will make your plant more powerful, and will be able to cause more damage when attacking your Brainrots.
If you have any super rare seeds, like Secrets, it could be a good idea to keep them as seeds, and wait for a weather event like the Plants Vs Brainrots weather event to plant them, to increase your chance of getting a mutated plant.
