The rarest pet in the new Grow A Garden Fall Egg is the Swan, and we have some super rare pets inside the Fall Pets shop too, so there are a lot of pets to collect in this newest update.
Grow A Garden has some weird obsession with bird creatures right now, with the rarest pets in the most recent updates all having wings and beaks; Golden Goose, Griffin, Phoenix, Cockatrice, Swan and Barn Owl. I think we’re all kinda over the winged creatures for the rarest pets obsession.

The swan is the rarest pet inside the new Fall Egg, with it being the 1% pet.
Although, this time around, Grow A Garden have given us a 1.5% pet with the Barn Owl, and then a 1% pet with the Swan, so we have two rare bird pets to try and hatch.
Inside the Fall Egg, these are the five pets you can potentially hatch:
- Robin – 55% chance
- Badger – 32.5% chance
- Grizzly Bear – 10% chance
- Barn Owl – 1.5% chance
- Swan – 1% chance

The Swan has a really majestic design, with black feet, wide white wings and body, and the black and orange beak.
I love that the Swan has moving sparkle animations all over, which isn’t something we’ve seen in a pet before.
It walks around your garden flapping its wings about, and it does take a lot of room up, as its wings are so wide.

When it comes to the ability, we get two different abilities with the Swan:
Every 24:43 minutes, it goes to another player’s pet and befriends it and performs its ability. Every 5:55 minutes, graces a fruit with the Graceful mutation.
So, the first part of the Swan’s ability is that it goes into another player’s garden (if you play in public servers), and will copy an ability of a pet in their garden.
You can’t control which pet it copies, and every 25 minutes is a long, long time to wait, and it could end up copying a useless pet like a Blood Owl, and you wouldn’t notice any benefit whatsoever.
It doesn’t copy OP pets like French Fry Ferrets or 15 second titanic rainbow Peacocks either, and when I’ve tested the swan in public servers, it’s been so underwhelming, copying pets like dogs or bunnies.
You’re completely helpless in which pet it copies, and it can end up performing the ability in the other player’s garden – like the hotdog dachshund, it drops the ketchup puddle in their garden and not yours, so they get a benefit, and you get absolutely nothing after waiting 25 minutes.
It’s a real garbage benefit in all honesty, and the only redeeming benefit is that it applied the Graceful mutation every 6 minutes, and that mutation has a x77 multiplier, so that’s worth having, but for being the rarest pet in the egg, it’s so underwhelming, and the Barn Owl is SO, so much better.
