The Grow A Garden Gourmet Egg launched as part of the cooking update, and features five brand new pets.
You can only get Gourmet Eggs from handing food to Chris P (the pig NPC), or handing mutated food to the Food Connoisseur (the rat NPC), but they’re relatively hard to get, and you can’t just purchase them with sheckles or Robux.
If you’d like to find out all about the Spaghetti Sloth, and why it’s the best pet from the Gourmet Egg, keep on reading…

The Gourmet Egg has a cute design, with a pig’s head wearing a chef hat, and the five pets you can hatch from a Gourmet Egg are:
- Bagel Bunny – 50% chance
- Pancake Mole – 38% chance
- Sushi Bear – 7% chance
- Spaghetti Sloth – 4% chance
- French Fry Ferret – 1% chance
The French Fry Ferret is the rarest pet to hatch, and while it’s the rarest, I actually think the Spaghetti Sloth is the better pet, with a much more useful ability.
Each Gourmet Egg takes 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch, and the Spaghetti Sloth is an adorable sloth pet, which lies on its front, with its arms outstretched, and its legs behind it, with chef whites uniform, including a chef hat on its head.
In its right paw, its holding a large spoon, and it crawls across the floor of your garden, until it does its ability, and when it’s time for the ability, it uses the spoon to “mix” next to your plant, with a fun animation.

What Does The Grow A Garden Spaghetti Sloth Do?
Every 13:55% minutes, the sloth goes to a nearby fruit and does-a-cooking! Applying the Pasta, Sauce or Meatball mutation.
There are actually four different mutations the Spaghetti Sloth can give you, and they each carry their own multiplier, which is amazing.
Plus, as the Spaghetti Sloth does the mutation on a “nearby” fruit, rather than just a random fruit, you can influence where the sloth mutates, by using the Pancake Stack cosmetic item, which attracts pets.
Allowing you to place the stack next to a plant/fruit you want mutated the most, and you’ll be able to get four different mutations with this method, over time, of course.

The four mutations you can get from the Spaghetti Sloth are:
- Pasta – x4 multiplier (a beige spiral appears on the fruit)
- Sauce – x3 multiplier (a red dripping animation falls from the fruit)
- Meatball – x3 multiplier (little brown balls spin around the fruit)
- Spaghetti – x15 multiplier (noodle animation appears with the animations from the other three mutations)
You can only get these four mutations from the Spaghetti Sloth, so it’s a super useful pet to own, as you won’t be able to get them any other way, so make sure you get at least one Spaghetti Sloth while you can, so you don’t miss out on these mutations in the future.
The fact you can get four mutations from single pet is amazing, and whilst each mutation is only a 3 to 15 multiplier, the fact you can get all four with the one single pet is amazing, and no other pet will give you this many mutations, plus, as you can influence which plants it mutates with the Pancake Stack, it makes it a super OP pet.
