I have seen Grow A Garden players talk about the Playtime Luck board on Reddit and in Discord, but it’s something I never saw myself.
I’d read people say that it was a feature that was only a “thing” for those in countries other than the US and Europe, because those countries might not be able to attend the updates when they launch, but that’s not the case, as I’m in the UK.
However, after playing an insane amount of the game, I finally got the game in my private server, and lots of amazing things happened…

I just logged into my private server to play, and I saw this big brown wooden board right outside my garden, which also gave a four-leaf clover icon in the top corner, which, when pressed, said “Luck: +10% luck”.
I didn’t get an announcement on the screen or anything like that. The board was there as soon as I entered my private server, and I went into the same server with my alt accounts, and the board didn’t show for any other accounts – just mine, so it’s not something you can share with your friends, as it’s playtime luck for just you as a player.

What Is The Grow A Garden Playtime Luck?
The Playtime Luck board is a big, brown wooden board that is positioned right outside your garden.
It works by increasing your luck within the game, the longer you stay in the server.
It starts by giving you +10% luck when you first enter the private server, but the longer you’re in the server, the more your luck will increase.
Here are the luck percentages for the duration you’re in the server:
- 5 minutes = 10% luck
- 10 minutes = 25% luck
- 25 minutes = 50% luck
- 45 minutes = 75% luck
- 75 minutes = 100% luck

The board mentions which percentage you’re currently on, on the top row in the “Active” row, so you can keep track of what luck percentage you’re on. Plus, when you click the four-leaf clover in the top corner, it also tells you which luck percentage you’re on.

The Grow A Garden Playtime Luck is supposed to increase your luck chances with crops – giving you gold, rainbow or huge crops, better seed pack luck and better egg luck.
It absolutely does, and the board will disappear the minute you leave the server, so if you’re ever lucky enough to see this board outside your garden, do not leave, as you’ll lose the luck, and probably never see it again, as it’s so insanely rare.
I didn’t really notice any differences to crops until I hit the 100% luck, after playing for 75 minutes in the server. As soon as I hit the 100% luck, it was crazy how instant the benefits were noticeable.
The first thing that happened was rainbow crops appearing. I got a rainbow sunflower, rainbow ember lily, rainbow lumira, rainbow foxgloves and rainbow lilacs.
Then, my peppers and moon melons grew massively, with huge chunky fruits in normal mutations, but also gold too.

I was most excited about my egg luck though. I purchased two packs of the 10 Premium Anti Bee Eggs (so twenty eggs in total), and I couldn’t believe how lucky I got.
I got the butterfly pet, moth pet and the disco bee pet – all three of the rarest pets within the Anti Bee Eggs. I can’t believe I got all five different available pets from the the pet range, from the 20 eggs.

I bought one 10-pack of the Exotic Seed Packs, to see if I could get a rainbow pack, but I didn’t get a rainbow pack.
I did, however, get a sunflower seed, and it’s my fifth sunflower seed I’ve got, which I know is crazy, but it’s amazing I was able to get another sunflower seed, thanks to the Grow A Garden Playtime Luck feature.

I do wonder if the playtime luck board is something Robux-spending players get, rather than free to play players. I had spent Robux the day before it happened, so it could be a coincidence, but it is something I perhaps think could affect it.
It was so crazy exciting to get the playtime luck board, and to have the luck, and I now have some epic size crops and mutated crops, all because of the playtime luck.
I so hope I get it again soon, but it’s the first time I’ve ever had it, even with playing the game every single day, but whenever you join a server, always check to see if you have a playtime luck board outside your garden, as you don’t want to miss it.
