Escape Tsunami For Brainrots launched their latest update this weekend, with lots of new content. It’s crazy how much they packed into the update. There’s the new Tsunami Tower quest, a new Trading Plaza, a new Doom event, new currency, new Lucky Blocks, new traits and more.
We also had a revamp on the screen in the left corner, which is where we could see our currencies for the different events. Now we can click the magnifying glass, and it opens a screen to show our balance of every in-game currency (as shown in the image below), which is so much easier to read, and is a lot more compact than before.
The newest event within the game, is now the Doom event, which turns the sky black, with glowing neon orange lava scattered across the map. It looks so epic, and during the Doom event, which spawns randomly, you can collect Doom Coins from the floor.
When you have 20 Doom Coins (the gold circular coins with a black skull face on them), you can go over to the Doom Spin machine, in the corner, next to the Sell Shop.
For every 20 Doom Coins you collect, you can spin the Doom Spin, with six different sections the spinner can land on, and each section will give you different rewards, like Doom Lucky Blocks, Doom Bats, Wave Shields and brainrots.
However, as well as having Doom Coins, we can now earn the new Magma Coins, and they’re not coins you collect from the floor, like you do with Arcade Tokens, Candy Coins or Doom Coins.
Magma Coins are something you earn by placing a brainrot that has the Magma trait inside your base.
To get a Magma trait brainrot, you have to look out for the Magma trait spawned brainrots during the Doom events. They appear randomly, in the different rarity sections, and you’ll spot them by looking above their heads for a little volcano icon.
Each brainrot with the magma trait or galaxy trait (or both) will earn you the Magma Coins and/or Galaxy Coins per second, as well as earning you the standard in-game currency at the same time. So, with this brainrot for example, it is earning me Magma Coins, Galaxy Coins and in-game currency simultaneously.
Obviously, this particular brainrot is earning little in-game currency at level 199, but I’ve kept it, inside my base, for the Magma Coins and Galaxy Coins.
Escape Tsunami For Brainrots admin confirmed, during the admin abuse for the launch of the Doom event, that brainrots will be potentially able to get multiple traits, but you have to be “really lucky”.
I actually managed to get some brainrots with both the Galaxy trait and the Magma trait, so those brainrots will earn me both currencies at the same time.
When you have a brainrot with a trait inside your inventory, you’ll see little tiny icons on the tile for the brainrot, so you can see which items in your inventory have traits on them, like the one I’ve shown above.
You can see that my Noobini Cakenini has both the Magma trait and the Galaxy trait, so it’s really handy to see which of your brainrots have traits.
This brainrot is just a Gold mutated Noobini Cakenini, level 98 (at this point – I level it up further down the post), and it earns 6 Galaxy Coins per second, 6 Magma Coins per second, and 30 billion currency per second simultaneously.
With my current rebirth level (just 25), I was able to level it up to earn 11 Galaxy Coins per second, 11 Magma Coins per second and 31 sextillion per second of the standard in-game currency.
So, I was able to level up both the standard currency, and the Magma/Galaxy Coins it earned per second, by leveling it up. As it is a Common rarity brainrot, it earns very little of all three currencies, but hopefully you can see how it works, with leveling, and earning of the coins via the brainrot traits.
Here are some slightly better earning brainrots I managed to get, during the Doom event.
The Guesto Angelic with the Emerald mutation, earns 44 Magma Coins and 44 Galaxy Coins per second, and the Bisonte Giuppitere with the gold mutation, earns 87 Magma Coins and 87 Galaxy Coins per second, at level 199.
The rarer the brainrots you manage to pick up, during the Doom event, that have the Magma trait, the more Magma coins you’ll earn per second.
During the Doom events, the Galaxy Storm can spawn in at the same time, and under a Galaxy Cloud, it can mutate brainrots so they have both the Magma trait and the Galaxy trait, so keep an eye out for them, as its amazing to be able to earn them both at the same time.
